Very cool. In 1973 I helped my uncle collect the slot machines for this shot. He was doing it a a favor for a prop guy friend of his. We went around to several homes of friends of a Italian friend of his who gave us the machines. Some of them worked, too. I read a little bit of the script and read this opening scene, but never saw the movie.
