@Enrique6299 knowing the music really helps, but after awhile you can almost anticipate what's coming. its like a "bachata sixth sense"! i also like the other way of dancing bachata but personally, its something that i don't feel comfortable dancing with strangers. there are only a few people that I like to dance that way with. and they're far and few between! but you're right... its great to have choices!

@carlos25099 what I like about this style is that it really allows you to express your musicality. look at how she accents and highlights parts of the song. just awesome. I still like the new kind of sensual bachata but some of it is just totally overdone. this style is alot more usable in social dancing

@YaletownYuppie People are confuse with Romatic and sensual is no the same thing, bachata is romantic. people use sensual to sale it which attrack perverts and people that lack dancing skills, sex sale anything. Untill you dance bachata socially you don't know what bachata is. Pro. bactachat to me is just crap there is no essence and no flow.

people that can't dance the real thing like this say they dislike it, you say you like it but rather the other way, are you able to dance like this?

@carlos25099 I can dance this way, in fact, that's how I first learned bachata. I didn't even know there was another way of dancing it until I saw Troy and Jorjet's videos. these days I don't dance much bachata socially unless its the dominican way. I have one good friend that i'll dance bachata in the close way but she's pretty much the only one. but it doesn't involve all the dips, and back bends, and other stuff. that's too much!

@YaletownYuppie the problem with those dips, turns and back bends they thow you off bet one is the one thing people dont understand, dancing any music is all about the rythm and the flow without you just not dancing.
