  • Didn't we all live it?

  • Did You Forget: Dolph Sweet Played

    In The Lords of Flatbush.

  • I LISTEN to THE LORDS OF FLATBUSH SOUNDTRACK almost everyday! I have the ALBUM and CD..

  • @martadoso9

Where did u get the CD?

I have been looking for years!!!!!!

  • Thousands of cable movie channels, thousands of DVD and Blue Ray releases, thousands of CD soundtracks...but You Tube is the only place where "The Lords of Flatbush" gets its due respect. Four little known actors who went onto great success...with one whose life ended much too soon. Gems like this film seem to be long forgotten, but not by those who love this film, and this phenomenal song.

  • Great song

  • Does anybody know anything about Jamie Carr? I can't seem to find anything about him!

  • A beautiful song about the death of childhood.

  • I GET CHOKED UP JUST WATCHING THE END OF THIS MOVIE, BUT WHY IN THE HECK WAS THE "TOAST" CUT OUT TOWARDS THE END, THAT THE BEST PART, OH BY THE WAY TKY FOR POSTING IT THIS GEM.

  • man where have the times gone...

  • oh my god

no matter how many times i watch

the ending to this, i could cry......

  • Thank YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS. !!!!

  • My cousin is the assistant producer for this movie......they had no idea this low budget film would turn in to a "classic" and the actors would go on to be real movie stars. He still gets royalties for it 40 years later!!!

  • Thanks so much for the vid

  • download free youtube to mp3 converter and right click on the video(song) you want. it will convert it to mp3 and put it on your desktop. handy for getting the soundtrack to this movie.

  • "Artie Levine, Get out here you scumbag!"

  • Wow .. I love this movie .. I have it on video. That song brings back lots of memories growing up back east in NY. I left old friends and hang outs behind some 25 years ago. A sad song !!!

Well nothing stays the same. A fact of life.

    Thanks for posting.

  • Miss this movie...they should play it more on television....thank you for posting...

    Best Wishes

"THE PAISAN FROM PORT SAINT LUCIE"

  • Dies anyone have any info or links for Jamie Carr who did this vocal as well as some of the other songs? Aside from Paul Mace, Ray Sharkey and Paul Jabara are also gone. I'm sure there are others like Dolph Sweet that most people wouldn't really know.

  • Brooklyn. We'll take your women while the rest of you rats in prison.

  • What was the whole story about Paul Maces death.......This was a great song from a classic movie that was perfectly casted

  • Motorcycle accident

  • Classic movie about friendship and growing up. One of my favorite endings of any movie. Does anybody know where I can get a copy of this song?

  • i have copy of entire soundtrack...

  • You can buy the DVD all day long on eBay for five bucks~

  • I would visit Paul & Judy in Mahopac. They were into Scientology and tried to peal mu interest. I joined the Navy instead (to avoid Vietnam) While I was on leave I saw the "Lords" at an upper East side (NY) theatre.

  • Paul was in the classsic cult film: "Panic in Needle Park. And "The Hospital" he played an intern. I know he was in one of Sly's films, but I don't think I ever saw it. My 20 year old son is an actor. Much to my dismay, he bought a motorcycle. His first film, "Hand 2 Hand" will be out soon. I think there are previews here on Youtbe.Search "Hand 2 hand Jino Kang"

  • He was also in Paradise Alley with Sly,Search for Tomorrow,CHIPS,Rockford Files,Hill Street Blues,Sound of Music on Broadway, many TV commercials, starred with George C.Scott on Broadway in The Wall and in East Side West Side with Scott. The list goes on and on!

  • i think Paul was also in a tv show called the Nurses

  • Yeah he was and also a gang member in Hill Street Blues. He wrote me once and said, hey,I've been elevated from a thug to a gang member : )

  • a shame, the loss of him

i've heard Sly talk about him a few times.

he was very fond of him and he loved Paul's humor. i'm sure they would have worked together often.

  • Stallone called him from the west coast and said"Hey meatball! wanna be in my movie?" Paul didn't hesitate and appeared in Paradise Alley. For a long time Sly never talked about Paul's accident and passing. He was probably just trying to make sense of it all. Thanks for your kind words : )

  • He was my uncle. Married my mothers younger sister.(Dnf)

  • I still so need the soundtrack and dvd for english player !!! this so song so good

  • Please Please Please post the whole Movie, I love Greaser Movies.

  • Rose and I love this song.Sincerely Greg

  • Paul was a great guy. He is my Uncle.

  • then somehow you and "basscyk" are related,

    correct?

    Mahopac? Putnam, NY?

  • Awesome I love the song and greatly appreciate the lyrics.

  • Life is never really changing Time is never really passing by Only different people walking Down familiar pathways where we walk Only different people saying The same things we were saying when we talk And dreams are still made of All the things dreams are made of And never finding happiness Is still what everybody is afraid of Tomorrow we may go our separate ways So let me drink a toast to you my friend On this your Wedding Day
  • Ah Yesterday we laughed and played Life was just a game that had no end And we would do it all again All the joy and all the pain Cause we had friends And everyday was something new We fell in love and didn't know quite What to do And one day we'll feel like We never have been here One day when we're traveling down Some dusty road or unfamiliar highway Tomorrow we may go our separate ways So all of us we drink a toast to you On this your wedding day...
  • i have the soundtrack to the movie with all the songs on album if anyone is interested.

  • u have soundtrack when are you gonna post songs?

  • Help me out here people!! Where I get this soundtrack or download this song. Just got to love this song you know:)

  • bassyck

Paul had talent when people see the movies he was in they say

" oh yeah , i know that guy". He left us way to soon. He had a great future in hollywood ahead of him. I know Sly was very fond of him and loved Paul's humor and outgoing nature.

you are correct he is dearly missed!

  • whats this song called????

  • "the wedding song" by jamie carr its in the closing scene of the lords of flatbush

  • RIP PAUL MACE AKA WIMPY

  • Paul and I were like brothers-we were 1st cousins and both only children. He showed me so much about life and living. We spent all of our vacations together, saw the Beatles and just had so many laughs. He was a great musician, artist and actor and never really got the recognition that he deserved. He still lives in my dreams and is dearly missed.

  • Paul was a great guy...He was my Uncle. I used to visit him in Mahopac

  • You've got me curious now :)

    What exactly is the relation?

  • By marriage. I know they had a duaghter. My Uncle Jim (Paul's wife's older brother) told me of the tradegy of Paul and Judy. I am curious to know where my cousin is now. I'll give you an email. you can email me directly.

  • She's around somewhere-where exactly I don't know. Tragedy is an understatement for what happened to them-very sad.

  • i have the soundtrack on album if anyone is interested

  • I have been waiting so long for someone to finally put up Jamie Carrs songs from the Lords of flatbush, Thanks.

  • love this song and Movie struggling to find soundtrack or english dvd!!!!

  • Exciting and special time. Thanks Russ for thew share.

  • Thanks for posting this.

  • Never understood why this film never gets the attention it deserves, especially with the great things that happened for Winkler, Stallone, & King shortly after it was made. It's also tough to think of a time when this song didn't bring a little lump to the throat...a wonderful vocal & lyrics of how quickly life changes.

  • Thanks so much, man. Loved this song a lot!! True art this movie!
