is it illegal to build some cock pit thang and attach alot of weather balloons to it and have plenty of techogie in the cock pit thang and use parachute to slow it down along with other stuff to slow it down and go close to outer space?
even though it's just the edge of space, a tiny bit space's... i remember when people say i should reach my dream as high as sky, and i quite jealous that James has reached his dream as high as sky..
The first time I saw this video I was the whole time with tears in my eyes and my heart in my hands, I would give everything I have, to be able to have that experience of being at 70 000 feet.................AMAZING and Simply breathtaking !!!!!!!!
simply breath taking .... inspiring and for you guys who fly these aircraft? i know you've got perils in doing so but dam i'm jealous. put simply? the best job/view in the world (or of the world) fantastic video. and the person who dislikes. the fact you took the time to dislike something like that sums you up really.
simply breath taking .... inspiring and for you guys who fly these aircraft? i know you've got perils in doing so but dam i'm jealous. put simply? the best job/view in the world (or of the world) fantastic video.
The world is a smaller place having seen it from a different vantage. We all occupy it. The political aspects of the current world stage do anger me at times. Having said that, what is considered "petty" is open to discussion.
I can say that I believe our enemies have made a move that places them in that category. Once they've done so.....I would use absolute power against them to defeat that threat. Wouldn't "enjoy" it. It is a necessity.
Why don't they build planes with stages? That way they can continue all the way up into orbit. It would be rather cheap considering all of the stages would be re-usable.
@Doctor699 Interesting idea indeed. But still, the amount of fuel needed to carry for space missions would be too much for a plane to handle. I think that's the reason that hasn't been done and will not be done.
@Heavykani Yea now that i think about it, maybe if they straped a plane onto a rocked like the space shuttle and did it in a direct acent way, but thats already been done.
well like james said " i think im getting emoitional" i sure was! there were tears building up! our planet is just beautiful! we need to stop over populating it and polluting it! fuck i wanna go to the edge of space so bad! just like james did!
We really are all child of the Stars and of this Planet...We are a Chemical Composition made of the same Chemical Elements from...and of this Planet....Nothing else....so when it dies....we die....and everything with it....so don't we as a Species owe it to this our Planet that we damage and destroy??...the very thing that gave us....as well as made us....to owe it....and show it some Respect?...The choice is yours.
To all that enjoy this footage, there is a U-2 airborne right now, as you do your job, play with your kids, or do whatever the freedom provided by our armed forces gives you.
The footage is dramatic, and as a former U-2 pilot, I can say that the sights from that "office window" are inspiring.
However, the pilots flying operational missions are exposed to both the threats of the environment they operate in as well as the threats of flying in combat environments.
@leeflhx When you see the earth from that view, while flying combat missions, do you ever get to thinking like James did, and start to realize just how petty many of the differences we have in this world are once you view earth from a few steps back and realize just how small everything is? Kind of like an irony?
felt emotional watching this. cant help but think, when your at the edge of space and you look back at the earth, the human race is just a speck in the vastness of the universe.
The world is just incredible :) I love it, on the ground, or on the edge of space, its just... breath taking. People take it for granted, and I hate it..
everybody should watch this. from earth we dont realise what we're slowly destroying. from up there, you realise how important it is to preserve this magnificent little planet. earth you are so beautiful!
