  • @TheAcreageContractor skogsforum.se

  • @TheAcreageContractor Go to the swedish website skogsforum.se and find the tag "Skogsarbete" (Forestrylabour) write your question there. Good luck!

  • langweilig ladet doch mal was vernünftiges hoch

  • cani have your job XD

  • olgarpatov, If sweden is great ,great means great, it's doesn't matter how lot of jobs has canada in the forest , most of companies are hypocrite and cheaters because they always lie about measurements and the wage per hactare, If sweden is great for the measurements and wage per hactare , then sweden remains great.

  • YES MAN I want to know if you are hiring now from this of july ,20 2010

I am free and I have no work in forest right now , I would like to know please ,and tell me how much you are paying for a hactare , I want to experience the forest work in sweden ,myself I live in Surrey -Vancouver canada with 12 years of experience.

  • please tell me, what´s the name of Sound by the Video "Forestry in Sweden 4"?

  • duktig idiot

  • hey man what you use for this very hard job???

  • @PescatoreFocoso is not that hard job ,is the matter of get used to it, when you know what you are doing is very easy and simple , you have to drink a lot of water filing your blade all the time when you are tanking (fuelling) be focused and endured person, don,t hate it love it. you will make money, but if you discourage yourself ,you won't go anywhere.actually and personally I enjoy this job

  • Hey good job :) what part of Sweden is that, I've been working for a company in Dalarna, I'm not swedish btw.

  • All what Ineed to know is this: How long it takes to finish one hektar in Sweden,4 hours ,a day or a day and half ?please tell me the truth, I live brushing and spacing.

  • clearing saws are sooo expensive!

  • how

  • the ones iv'e saw are like 1000 or higher

  • @kinghowie8 , but you get good money If u know how o do ur job

  • Thank you for showing the brush cutting. The guy on the video should'nt leave his hand from the handle. Because you loose time and it could be harmful. There is technics to send the treee where you want. Right, left foward and backward.

It is difficult to work in sweden but I think you need to find an employer first.

Here in canada there is a lot of needs for that kind of job.

  • olgarpatov, which province are in canada, tellme which company is hiring in canada in May ,and how much money the company pays per hectare, and how long it takes to finish one hectare, If so I will be ready for that company,I am forwarding to hear from very soon.

    Thanks.

  • @olgarpatov not anymore since canada and US have a dispute over the lumbers thing we have lost so many companies and jobs in the forest.

  • PBGVPBGV how much you can pay to an employee If you hire one

  • When we have hired people to do clearing for us the rate has often been about 3000 swedish crones / 280 euros / 405 U.S dollars per 1 hektar. A hektar is a square by 100 meter by 100 meter.

  • I want to know If next season in 2010 you will need or hire people to clean I would like to put me on the list, but before I would like to know how ,canadians are accepted to work in Sweden, and what is the procedure to get work permit .

  • Sweden is great but there is a lot of jobs in Canada for brush cutting

  • @olgarpatov man no more may brush jobs in canada except in Quebec a lot of brushing and spacing from Mai to the end November, but in BC If ou get one month of brushing you are blessed, I want to work in Norway, Sweden, over there things are good I think

  • I need to brushi with saws ,not with chainsaws, anyway I remember in 2007 Iwas brush with saw and al my co-workers were using chainsaws ,you know what I the fastiest and I was making $300 cdn a day. that's why I love my brushsaws. FS 450-480 are cool.

  • @olgarpatov which means great remains great canada is full of cheaters onmeasurements and pay less money, I mean companies lie about , the measurement is not exactly what they tell you and then they pay you less money per hectare.

  • how many hectare in total in you have for the whole season,a season in canada goes from mid-May to September 15 ,or October 25, so when do you start brushing or cleaning in Sweden and when you stop, how you pay ,in two weeks or per month because here in canada after two weeks ,the pay goes through into your account ,I want to know If there If I am a foreigner The swedish government will cut some money or taxes is that true (this is a version with which one of my friends told me)

  • This is a very good practice if the cutter is properly trained. Whom pays for this management over there?

  • I´m not sure what you mean, but it is the owner of the forest who engages someone to do the clearing. Me, however, work only in my own forest. The general opinion in Sweden is that theres to much young forest in Sweden that hasn´t been cleared.

  • well...whay do i have the feeling that the distance beteewn the trees is to small?(3.16)with birch you'r right it good for biotop ;).whay don't you use a still 550?

  • Yes, I often leave to little distance between the trees. Since I work in my own forest I intend to come back in a few years and do a clearing again, or maybe an early thinning. When clearing is made in "the big forest companies" forests they clear out more than I do in this video.

  • You do not need to do that because the trees you have selected will win the race of growing and will not not be influenced by the new ones that will grow. You could instead cut the lower branch to remove the nuts of the wood

  • Still is not very good in the recent years They have to improve things on it

  • @seryyw Sthl 550 is biggest , but don't overlook sthl 450,sthl 480 it's not having 550 which makes your work done but the experience you have, u can use 550 and me 450 or 480 fs sthl but I can brush better

  • blir riktigt fint efter dig =)

  • NICE video 5*s

  • I LOVE THIS VIDEO ! SWEDEN ROCKS !

  • I've got a few questions: 1) What was the age of the trees you were clearing? 2) Were the trees naturally planted through seed dispersal or seedling planting? 3) What species were you looking to keep?

Thank you for making your videos, you did a great job in showing the various stages of forestry. You also did well with the camera work.

  • 1. The age differs from different scenes, but the age in the more "mature scenes" I would say is a bit over 10 years.

    2. The trees was not planted. "Seeding trees" were left at the last time they cut down the whole "forest".

  • 3. Mainly Pinetree (Tall) and Spruce (Gran). That is what you mainly use for constructionwood in Sweden. I want to keep about 5- 10% leaftrees, often Birch (Björk), in order to keep a diversity in the forest. Diversity which I not really can explain, but I think it´s good to have a balance in insects and birds.

    Thank you.

  • @PBGVPBGV

  • Any job vacancies in Sweden?

The prospects here in England aren't great!

  • I´m not the right to answer, but it feels though as if the forestindustry is at the bottom in sweden right now, and that it probably will start picking up this autumn. My impression is that, apart from this down, there is allmost allways clear possibilities of getting a job in the swedish forest. Anyone else perhaps knows better?!

  • dude wheres the blade guard?id hate to be you if the blade flys off.

  • I´m not sure if I understand what a "blade guard" is, but I have a small metallthing covering the blade towards my legs. Maybe it doesn´t show in the video. Maybe your refering to something thats bigger than that.

  • no i can sort of see it ya its a curved metal or sometimes plastic thing.but now i can see it you just have to look hard.cool man keep up the goood work

  • You've got what a blade guard is correct. Something to prevent the blade from hitting you the equipment operator.

  • its a blade guard... just a small one, i think its a stopper of some sort, health and safety malarky

  • The motor blew up in my husky saw the other day. $300 to rebuild but it last me 10months of working it everyday.

  • husqvarna nice ;)

  • And just to be clear with everybody that goes to APman101! :)

  • Fuck you for being a ignorent asshole 0:39 read what it says

  • Idiot

  • BADASS!!!

  • nice vid, well done

  • Fina julgranar i början!

  • the fun part is when te cutting is done, the bad part when you have to pull those trees out of there :) , nice work

  • the trees stay there, nobody pools them out ;) only if you clean your own forest and you need them and you want to do it :) the big companies leave everything there :)

  • @FromTheYear2009 why u have to pull trees?

  • Good work, respect ; )

  • nice video

  • putos

  • Great vid, good work!

  • Fin röjning!

  • NICE!! I know some people who need to do that in their back yards :P

  • awesome video man i woted 5 star greetings from your neighbour country norway

  • Thank you!

  • What clearing saw are you using? what cc?

    Thanks,

    Josh

  • It´s a Husqvarna 252RX.

    51 cc.

Now I´ve bought a Husqvarna 355Fx, haven´t used it yet though.

  • Nice work, again! Your directing skills are improving immensely. I especially liked the intro with the close-up of you putting your harness on and starting the mp3 player. You should have had some more tree-killing inspirational music though... See ya soon, hopefully in a forest with a couple of Husqvarnas in our hands :-)

  • Ha ha ha Absolut!
