i've got the fingerpicking patterns down but am only able to play it at about 3/4 the time signature. What is the time signature as i'm going on between 90-100 beats/minute using 8th notes.
Sounds nice. I started learning from Stefan Grossman's audio tapes back in 1984 while serving in the USAF stationed in San Antonio, Texas. Stop by my page when you get a chance. Enjoy.
Kenni, it is a nice Sunday morning here in México and I just checked my e-mail after been studying one of your lessons ("You got to move", "Bottleneck blues guitar" lesson series one) for two hours. I will practice the song for the rest of the week (or my life?) What a nice coincidence... Thanks for you comment!
Well, it is a cold rainy afternoon here in New Jersey. LOL It sounds like you are off to a great start learning this style. I would just suggest digging in and exploring the fingerboard of the open D tuned fingerboard until it becomes familiar territory. I believe the video lessons with make this easier. Please feel free to write anytime if question arise as you work through the lessons. Enjoy.
