  • my g*d, madhubala is amazingly beautiful

  • Even if all the Ivy league universities in the UK and USA award her a PhD in acting it will not be enough to recognize her immense performance. She is goddess of acting. May God Bless soul.

  • She is just stunning - and her personality and performance are just without comparison - even to this day

  • Madhubala real name Mumtaz Begum was belong to Pakistan's pathan family. Delip Kumar (Yousuf Khan) and Madhubala (Mumtaz Begum) this song showing that "true love never die"

Madhubala had a long affair with actor and frequent co-star Dilip Kumar

  • She is perfect, from head to toe.

    I just love her.

  • madhubala is perfection

  • Madhu jee : Lekin humko yeh shikwa hai ki aap kiyon sabh aapnain fans ko chhor kar chalee gayee hain. Is kamee ko koi pura naheen kar sakta. Khuda aapko jannat main mehfooz rakhey.

  • Agree with every word you said in Urdu--and English script. Indeed ,death of Madhubala at young age of 36 is so sad and heart-breaking. I did not know any thing about MADHUBALA ,till a few weeks ago. Just seeing her on the silver screen is a superb joy . The vey sight of MADHUBALA evokes love and affection. Madhubala is not sexy---she is lovely and super-cute. Never before I have seen such a fabulous & lovely person on the screen. Amazing,40 years ago she died-but even now we miss her.

  • main sau feesadee aapse sehmat hoon. Woh bhaut hee natural, sadgee sey bahrpoor khatoon theen. Inko bhoolna bahut hee mushkil hai. Jis sadgee sey yeh lyrics kehtee theen, kabhee naheen bhoolain gey rahman sahib.

  • Hello, akarshik---or whatever your real name is------it seems that we both ( and many many more people ) are 'addicted' to this beautiful song , and to this great BEAUTY----MADHUBALA. The very fact that 40 years after her death, we are still talking about her------this is a tribute to the magical spell of love & affection this super-cute lady creates. Getting addicted to this song and to MADHUBALA is the most innocent addiction I can think of. May GOD bless her.

  • what a music what a voice what an acting what a beauty what a lyrics everything superb beyond comparable kalakaar paida hota hai banaya nahin jaata was true for Madhubala . Thanks .

  • The perfect voice for the perfect face and a perfect composition !!! thanks kitaabik

  • she looks like a goddess.

  • Addicted to this song , -----and addicted to THE Beauty----MADHUBALA. I guess this is an 'innocent' ,harmless addiction??

This 'addiction' is thanks to the power of cinema------past comes to the present. Absolutely stunning MADHUBALA is still live on the silver screen. Beautiful ,indeed.

  • absolutley beautiful.. what an amazing smile... a song with true meaning.. like everyone has said her expressions are amazing. i heard this song on the plane to pakistan and im addicted to this song.. beautiful.. 5 star classic song

  • Indeed ,absolutely beautiful. I am an 'addict' as well -- addicted to this song.

Both the song and MADHUBALA are absolutely beautiful. Expressions on the face of MADHUBALA are superbly fabulous.

  • No actor can smile and express his/her pain at the same time, like Madhubala does.

The phrase "Beautiful tragedy" is written all over face.

Thank you for posting the video.

  • Yes , this is an accurate ,precise -----and an excellent description of Madhubala 's acting ---not only her acting ,but her tragic life story. "BEAUTIFUL TRAGEDY"--what a beautiful way of describibg this GREAT BEAUTY-- MADHUBALA. And ,this song indeed describes this 'beautiful tragedy' in a superbly beautiful way.

  • I really loved that, thank you :-)

  • Am from trinidad in the caribbean and i grew up to these tunes its just makes your day so happy!

  • Wat a song.. sends chill thrue me.. i am 21 .. and i was bored so i thought i might as well look wat this old scho0l is about.. i loved this song ..lolzzz the expression on her face.. the music.. da acting... the lyrics.. excillent!

  • What a sweet but deeply sad song! As always love the pairing of elegant Madhubala with the the then young n dashing (and equally emotive) Dilip Kumar. This vintage Gem of a song with it's touching lyrics shows the magnanimity of a truely caring heart - broken but still full of selfless devotion deep enough to release the loved one of any guilt in moving ahead. Beautiful! But sad. :)

  • Naushad saab Aapko mera sanam.

  • owesome evergreen song

  • bahu hee umda gaya hai lata jee nain.great oldies. razadan jee bahut bahut shukriya youtube par laganain ka.

  • Thanks. Par yeh razadan jee kaun hain?

  • Indeed, charming beauty of MADHUBALA ,takes your breath away. Lovely song ,beautiful and sentimental lyrics------but a bit saddennig , fits with her sad life-end , leaving this world with broken heart, at a young age of only 36. Why the HAND OF FATE sometimes is so cruel-looking to some people ---Madhubala is not the only one-------Marilyn Monro and Princes Diana, both of them beauty queens, both

leaving this earth with tragic deaths ,at the ages of 36 !!

  • I don't understand you comparing Madhubala with M.Monroe or Diana, Madhubala was simply Madhubala and needs no comparison , on the contrary those comparisons diminish her.

  • Hello , nacapula 1 ---interesting & somewhat amusing that how soetimes words from one person can be misunderstood by other person. I was not comparing the beauties of these three famous ladies----I was just expressing a sort of sympathy with these three , that the hand of FATE took all these 3 ladies from our world at young age of 36. Heck , no question Madhubala is indeed Madhubala. There is no comparison at all with magical & innocent & natural beauty of MADHU.

  • I think that them dying at such a young age hides a tragic life. Maybe they have been exploited severely as from very young age.

Nevertheless I see there beauty and that of what they left us and feel sorry for them.

  • Hello, nacapula 1---sent text comment---may be did not take it on. Thank you for your prompt reply.

It is amzing that 40 years have passsed by ,since Madhubala left this world ,and she still fires the imagination of people for love ,affection and beauty.I have gotten to know about her just a few weeks ago. What is this magical spell of MADHUBALA ??

  • rahman2122.. The spell of Madhubala may be the result of various factors:

    - she was of poor descent and kept her family alive at an age where more fortunate children just play.

    - her professional ability

    - her tragic love for Dilip Kumar

    - not at least her personality.

Maybe that's it? All the best for 2009.

  • Hello, nacapula. Thank you for your response. Wish you and all your family very Happy New Year.

As for MADHUBALA,I think it is her GOD-given natural personality ,which casts a spell. And this gives her ability to perform superbly as actress. Very often ,it does not seem that she is acting ---she looks 'natural' while she is acting in movies. I haven gotten to know her only a few weeks ago ,through Youtube. Thanks to MADHUBALA,I have started enjoying Indo-Pak movies again.

    Best wishes.

  • Personally I like these old films and songs very much, it's like a fairy tale (too beautiful to be true..) in a brutal world and therefor very relaxing to me.

Viva the old Indopak films actors and actresses and singers and not to forget all composers and producers.

  • Oh,yes, nacapula ---------old film songs are indeed so relaxing ,and are joyful escape from the present day 'brutal world' Actors ,actresses , singers , composures and producers --and so many other 'unsung heroes' have done excellent job indeed. And here we are in 2009 , enjoying all this thanks to their great & hard work in 1950's & 1960's --more than 40 years ago!!!

  • Lata-Naushad-Madhu trinity! What heavenly voice, heavenly composition, and heavenly beauty! The lyrics are also filled with moving sentiments-- of love, resignation, understanding, forgiveness. Madhu's imagery here projects a pearl-like luster, purity, grace, and innocence. These are qualities very hard to find in Bombay movies these days. Thanks again, kitaabik.

  • no one could have commented or described this better sir !

    thanks a lot .

  • wow she is so beautifull

  • i love this song more thx alot man!muje to bhot shikwa hai lol

  • A great beauty, just takes your breath away, no one comes close, perhaps Elizabeth Taylor in her youth or Madhuri to a lesser extent.

  • pyardular, Grass on other side of the fence is not always green, and that one which is glittering is not always gold, i hope you got the massage.

  • Thank you kitaabik .... this is a lovely song and beautiful lyrics...

  • i have to agree to most of you!

Madhubalaji's eyes are soo magical that even today they create the same magic!

  • it's a beautiful song and i ssy that the emotional in her beautiful EYES the is truth, which can be expressed with true love ,our best compliments from vancouver (canada) just keep it up.

  • Salam

    Aah...Vancouvre..You are living in a heaven !!!

  • Madhubala's face counters are so beautiful. I am sure any artist would agree that her face is perfect in angles, proportions and that makes her like noone. One who comes close to her is madhuri and kate winslet. All of them have true balance in their features thay look simply divine.

  • Shakeel has written a great song!

  • Very lovely song - Lata's outstanding voice.

  • O, what a beauty. Only we can compare Madhuri with her

  • isse se achcha song ho hi nahi sakta hai

  • The captivating thing about Madhubala was that like predecessors Ingrid Bergman & Vivien Leigh colour film was not needed to betray her beauty. She knew how to make her features speak; I cannot help but feel sad in the knowledge that one so enchanting left us while she was still magical. Even sadder is that one so innately endowed died broken hearted. Madhubala was born on St Valentine's day, if that is not a divine message nothing is.

  • what you have written is the thing i always felt.i dont believe in god still the doubts persists ,why she was born on valentines day/let compassion and love triumph over all petty matters of family, society, country, and everything.abolishing the limitations of blood relations.

  • Dilip Kumar looks sharp!

  • its really very very nice song.......Madhubala is my favorite actress........ specially last words......mubarak tujay ho tere dil ki dunya, meri zindagi ka tu gham na karna....ye sab gardishen hain naseebon ki piyare,na teri khata hai na meri khata hai...... HN...!

loves not to be forget & Never die....!

  • evrything abt d song is beautiful..

  • evry1 is commenting on madhubala's good looks, but what about dilip kumar? Wow....he was realllllly good looking in his younger days, and i'm like a twenty year old sayin this! By the way shahrukh resembles him A LOT

  • there are no words to express for madhubala's expression.Nobody can take her place

  • Stunning! Watch the expression on her face and the movement on her lips as if she is singing the song herself. It takes a great actress to do that. I wonder who is singing for who here. Is Madhubala singing for Lata or is Lata singing for Madhubala? If you see what I mean.

  • I wish I knew what they were singing but hell even without subs the song is so beautiful & Madhubala is absolutely stunning!!.. TFS!!

  • a lovelest song i ever heard

    tanveer

  • muqaddar charagho ke badle hue hei...

  • Lata's great song I hear on radio when I am in India...awesome Madhu beauty never seen again on Indian screen only Madhuri comes close

  • Hum to Madhubala kay dewaanay ho gaye.

  • Join the club.

  • This expression " Hum to Madhubala kay dewaanay ho gaye" by hsyed01 ,speaks for the charisma of MADHUBALA. Forty years have passed by ,since Madhubala left this world ,broken-hearted-----but it is amazing that her memory still fires the imagination of people for beauty, love and affection. This is the POWER of cinema----past comes to the present. Absolutely stunning MADHUBALA is still live on the screen.
