Today, senior Republican Senator Chuck Hagel has voiced doubts about Sarah Palin's qualifications for the vice-presidency.
John McCain's running mate "doesn't have any foreign policy credentials", Mr Hagel told the Omaha World-Herald.

The problem with putting Hillary on the ticket was that she had made all of those very negative comments against Obama, which McCain would have used against them. If would have been quite effective. She put herself out of contention for VP. I think with Hillary not having to deal with all of the other problems in the world, maybe she will actually have time to make sure a health care initiative gets passed. With the state of the nation, this presidency is going to be tough.

She supported it and kept the damned money when the plug was pulled. I repeat, kept the money! What she really said was "Thanks! Since I can't have my bridge, I'll keep and squander the American taxpayers money!" This woman is no reformer. She is a fraud. Oh, and a portion of that taxpayer money she kept is being used to build a road to where the bridge was going to be. Guess she's still supporting a road to nowhere.

Well, a free person would join a revolution. If you ask for one though, you will be locked away and stripped of the few freedoms you have left. This is how you are herded and silenced. I'd say, use what you have at your disposal, ie: where you work, who you know, and who you can freely speak with. The internet is monitored, and each rebellion on here, warrants investigation, and blacklisting :(

That's not just a lie, but an acknowledged lie. What she actually told Congress was more like, "Gimme the money for the bridge" -- and then later, after the whole thing had become an embarrassment, she didn't object to using the money for other projects
