@TrafficRiot911 i to say forgot razor and exciter , i didn't mentioned rush because they are progressive rock, and i was just mentioning metal bands from there, i didn't know vancouver had black metal scene.

@irondeth2 yeah i just threw rush in there on a whim cause i think they're awesome, although some of their songs like "Working Man" could be considered metal on par with Sabbath take it they wrote it in '73 or '74. i'd definetly say Rush has a spot on the metal family tree in the 70s metal with bands like Sabbath, Budgie, and UFO. As for the black metal scene, i believe it was in the early 90s so i don't actually think it's still around, it had bands like Blasphemy, it was a very small scene.
