He remade it so that it's perfect for a guy or girl. And guess what? Raoul sings this song too. David isn't gay, he's just following the guidlines for that week.

Alright just because he didn't use it with THIS song doesn't mean David Cook doesnt' have originality too. When he sang "Little Sparrow" he said that was his own arrangment. Don't get so worked up. They are both great artists, Cook is just who won. I personally admire Cook for sticking with the classic version of the song because Phantom of the Opera doesn't need anything added or changed to make it rock. David Archuleta is a good singer, but so is Cook don't get all bent out of shape.
