Castro ain´t bad and the suffering of Cuba is because of the USA blockading Cuba since the missile crisis.
TV-show "Madventures" went to Cuba and unveiled that the Cuban people are happy and enjoying many gov funded socialbacking (small amount of money because of the USA blockade). Madventures is finnish TV-show and they hate liars.
@lalalala19941994able Because he's a dictator, just like his US-backed predecessor Batista who turned Cuba from a democracy to a police state and killed 20,000 Cubans. Just like the US-backed Chiang, Diem, Suharto, the Shah, Pinochet, Batista, Hussein (up until the Gulf War), Trujillo, Noriega, the Duvaliers, Sadat and Mubarak...and the incumbents Nguema, the Saudi King, Karimov the Boiler, Deby and Berdymukhamedov. Castro is a nasty piece of work but some people are very hypocritical about him.
@lalalala19941994able Look how Cuba it is now destroyed streets, buildings, people fleeing the country cant eat meat, study or not you gonna earn the same shit, dude get the picture, but of course you wouldnt know cuz your not cuban.
yeah i'm not... but i will come one day... and that's why i asked you, because you live there and you know better.... my friend... our politicians had ruined my hometown and country too... i know how it feels.
@xDFoRcEzZ Stop denouncing Fidel Castro. Before the revolution, there was barely a person who could read and write in Cuba. Now you have the highest literacy rate in Latin America. Studying is for free as is health care and there is plenty of food for everyone. I agree that there is room for improvement, but without him, you would be just as fucked up as the U.S.A. with 20% poverty and education and expensive surgeries only available to millionaires, but the U.S. propaganda doesn't show that.
@MrTaQiNonen Dude have you seen the houses in cuba have you seen the streets in cuba in us if you are a docyor you have fucking everything in cuba no matter what you are you have the same shit every one else has NOTHING

Fidel Castro is an always will be a legend in every sense of the word. The U.S. might have branded him a dictator and a tyrant but in the eyes of the Cuban people he is a true savior who protected that nation from being manipulated and controlled over by the United States. I applaud him for breaking the red, white, and blue chains that had once oppressed his nation and fine people. Without Castro, Cuba would be just like any other country dominated by the West...depleted and in shambles.
@bigpro5335: Yes, Fidel Castro was a savior in the eyes of the Cuban people...that's why there were so many of them floating on doors in order to escape the communist regime. If you want to take a look at a country "controlled" by the US, just look at Japan and the advancements it's made since WWII. Cuba's "chains" weren't from the USA, but rather the USSR. @Redeye1524 No, by that I mean that no other country stood up to them like they did. Shit hole? I wouldn't know about that, let's be honest here and say that a lot of Cuba's poverty is a direct cause of the US embargo. And even with that poverty, universities and health care are considered basic rights and are free to all Cuban citizins. Unlike in the US where if you can't pay 50.000 a year, tough luck right? Not lapdog, ally. With the US breathing down their neck, they could use one.
Yes, and what almost caused the 3rd world war was the arming of Cuba via Soviet made missiles that could hit the US coast within 8 minutes. The condition was for Castro to step down, and he did not. Therefore, he himself is responsible for Cuba's poverty.
If almost causing a 3rd world war due to arming his country with Soviet made missiles that could hit the US coast within 8 minutes is what you consider an "ass kicking", then okay. However, the condition was for Castro to step down, and he did not, therefore, he himself is responsible for Cuba's poverty.
@JohnQRandom Educate myself? You should look into the bay of pigs. Or realize that the regime he attacked was US backed. Or realize that he has survived numerous assasination attempts backed by the CIA. I think the US would place missiles for less than that. Probably even fire them too. The condition was for him to step down and do what? Let another US backed government take it back to where it came from? I think he owed it to his fallen comrades to try and lead that country. Educate myself.
You must be joking!! YES EDUCATE YOURSELF!!! You don't think the CIA could have killed him by now??? Sorry, but the US will gladly take a step aside for Europe's new "pain in the ass": that being MUSLIMS. Find another outlet to bitch about sweetheart. ; )
@JohnQRandom Seems to me you're the one bitching about something. Ofcourse they could have killed him, the thing only was that it could not be known that the CIA backed it, that's what the agency is all about. Europe's pain in the ass, funny you should say that, isn't Guantanamo stuffed with Muslims being tortured and deprived of the right of a fair trial? Isn't that one of the basic principles of your country? And when you traumatized them you kindly ask Europe for sanctuary for them? Hmmm...
You must be joking!!! First of all, a vast majority are TALIBAN FIGHTERS WHO HAVE BEEN CAUGHT FIGHTING COALITION FORCES. Second of all, your muslim population is the fault of Europe's LEFTIST IMMIGRATION LAWS, try taking some responsibility for a change. We just saw Geert Wilders cleared of charges of hate speech after being put on trial for speaking the truth. And guess who put him on trial in the first place, leftist assholes like you who have a soft spot for islamists.
@JohnQRandom Would you look at that. A racist American for a change. "A vast majority" EVEN if that's true, that still means that innocent people are being held without trial. And even the guilty Taliban fighters, I mean really, torture? No trial? No right for an attorny? Even serial killers get those. I don't suppose you've heard of the Geneva convention. Or that you know why the US gov opted for Guantanamo? You guys are such fucking hypocrites I wouldn't even know where to begin.
LOL! There it is!! I'm a "racist" because I have no sympathy for taliban soldiers, and if they were caught supporting them then ALL GUANTANAMO PRISONERS ARE GUILTY OF SUPPORTING TERRORISM AGAINST THE WEST. We're the hypocrites?? It seems when immigration problems and islamist extremism is in your backyard, then you speak out against it. Pack it up asshole, you're here just to bitch, tomorrow you'll be on the Anjem Chowdary threads speaking out against radical muslims.
@JohnQRandom Nice way to avoid the real question. And how the fuck would you know that all prisoners are guilty? I ask you again, why did the US government pick Guantanamo? It wouldn't have anything to do with the fact that it's not US territory in legal terms, would it? Radical Muslims are a problem to both the Western and Islamic world, or do you suppose people like being blown to pieces on a bus? I'm calling you a racist not because what you say, but because you're generalizing.
What question am I avoiding?? And how the fuck do you know they're not guilty?? The prisoners at Guatanamo (a US naval base, so yes it's US territory) are captured Taliban fighters, or people the CIA has been monitoring via their e-mails, their terrorist connections etc. and if water boarding them means saving the lives of NON-muslims then I have no problem with it whatsoever. If you're such an islamic sympathizer, then try researching how fair and friendly Sharia laws is by comparison.
Furthermore, a "racist" is someone who hates others belonging to a different "race", and as usual, when ultra-leftists such as yourself get tongue tied you pull the "race" card. If you want to accuse me of "generalizing" then fair enough, but calling me a "racist" is not only false, but has absolutely nothing to do with this debate. Which I might add has gone from Fidel Castro, to Taliban, to Guantanamo. What's next? George Bush? Okay, I'm all ears.
@JohnQRandom May I remind you that you took the debate to the Muslim subject? So you're not a racist, you only limit yourself to Muslims, is that the problem? Don't accuse me of changing the subject when that's what you're doing. Why did the US choose Guantanamo? And to an extend: do you agree with what is happening there?
Is Guantanamo the only thing you know of?? It is inconceivable that you know what exactly is going on there, because you have never been there. Islam is a threat to western culture and values, which should concern you hell of a lot more than Guantanamo, being that your country is roughly the size of the state of Massachusetts. Obviously Guantanamo was chosen because it is secluded and cannot draw muslims and/or "islamist" sympathizers (like yourself) to protest outside its walls.
Also, I've already told you (although I would never waterboard someone myself), I do not have sympathy for Taliban islamists or those who are conspiring against westerners with the intent to kill us in the name of their religion. Therefore I am not opposed to the treatment the prisoners have received while being detained there.
@JohnQRandom Not opposed does not equal agreed. No great democracy should treat any living person that way. Especially not while pointing a finger at Cuba.
I never pointed my finger at Cuba, I pointed my finger at Fidel Castro as I blame him for his country's financial situation. He was given an ultimatum after he foolishly armed himself with Soviet nuclear missiles, and that was to step down, or the US would see to it that his people would suffer under his rule. He selfishly refused, and the US followed through with the punishment. You leftist jargon is getting tiring my friend.
@JohnQRandom And that is the problem that people have with the US. The arrogance. You don't think the people had it better under Batista, the US backed and controlled Cuban regime before the revolution do you? Practically the entire island was illiterate for example. The revolution has brought (among other things, good and bad) literacy, free health care for everyone, a better educational system and freedom from US control. At least, if the embargo would be lifted at last.
You are in disagreement with someone on youtube, leave the "I don't like Americans because..." bullshit out of it. It's not like I'm judging all of Belgium because of your idiotic statements. Furthermore, I have lived in 5 different countries over the past 10 years. Russia (twice), Japan, The Czech Republic, Ecuador, and currently South Korea. Everywhere I have gone I have well respected and liked/loved BECAUSE I'm American. My nationality has only been an advantage. Sorry big guy.
I really don't think you give a shit about the Cuba embargo any more than you care about Taliban prisoners in Guantanamo. It seems your primary interest is bitching at so-called "arrogant Americans" who don't buy into your leftist jargon. If it was up to me, I'd lift the embargo myself, however the point is Fidel Castro himself is responsible for his country's woes, not I and not the American public. Also remember, it was "arrogant Americans" who helped liberate your country from the Nazis.
@JohnQRandom The US wasn't mad with power back then as they are these days. There's plenty of documentaries to choose from really. And don't get me wrong, I don't have America, I don't have its citizens. I do however strongly condemn what the US government is up to behind our and especially your backs. And the citizens that believe everything they do is for world peace are just brainwashed by the propaganda machine, one Hitler himself would be jealous of. War made easy.
Americans are VERY aware that MOST governments are dishonest, including their own. And stop comparing the US government to that of the NAZIS. That my friend is total Euro-liberal bullshit propaganda at its finest.
@JohnQRandom Shutt he fuck up. You know what almost casw ww3? The fact that US was giving nuclear arms to Turkey and europe. So please, shut the fuck and go back to school
Wrong. Soviet missiles being secretly shipped to Cuba is what almost caused WW3, it gave way to what is well known as "The Cuban Missile Crisis", RESEARCH IT.
Not as many as Uncle Joe Stalin or Mao, who were even bigger left wing bastards who killed tens of millions of people. so what is your point? there is in fact no point to your statement.
@BRC98 Not a 90 year old man, a cruel dictator and murderer whose nose was so high looking down on the little people he didn't realize there was a step. If only Americans laugh at that, I'm proud to be one of them.
@Requiemoflife1 Yep. Canadian people are free to travel anywhere, and the best and the brightest usually travel to the United States -- and stay! It's called "brain drain." Ha, ha, ha.....doesn't that suck. I mean, with the coldest temperatures in North America, why wouldn't you want to travel to Cuba. Meanwhile, in south Florida, Cuban-Americans are ready for one helluva celebration when this old bastard bites it for good.
Your "best" and "brightest" are foreigners. Canada's scientific corps AND engineering corps are mostly Asian, which explains your high number of Chinese, Korean and Indian population. Please educate yourself. ; )

Educate myself.
micvrom 7 months ago
@micvrom
You must be joking!! YES EDUCATE YOURSELF!!! You don't think the CIA could have killed him by now??? Sorry, but the US will gladly take a step aside for Europe's new "pain in the ass": that being MUSLIMS. Find another outlet to bitch about sweetheart. ; )
JohnQRandom 7 months ago
@JohnQRandom Seems to me you're the one bitching about something. Ofcourse they could have killed him, the thing only was that it could not be known that the CIA backed it, that's what the agency is all about. Europe's pain in the ass, funny you should say that, isn't Guantanamo stuffed with Muslims being tortured and deprived of the right of a fair trial? Isn't that one of the basic principles of your country? And when you traumatized them you kindly ask Europe for sanctuary for them? Hmmm...
micvrom 7 months ago
@micvrom
JohnQRandom 7 months ago
@JohnQRandom Would you look at that. A racist American for a change. "A vast majority" EVEN if that's true, that still means that innocent people are being held without trial. And even the guilty Taliban fighters, I mean really, torture? No trial? No right for an attorny? Even serial killers get those. I don't suppose you've heard of the Geneva convention. Or that you know why the US gov opted for Guantanamo? You guys are such fucking hypocrites I wouldn't even know where to begin.
micvrom 7 months ago
@micvrom
JohnQRandom 7 months ago
@JohnQRandom Nice way to avoid the real question. And how the fuck would you know that all prisoners are guilty? I ask you again, why did the US government pick Guantanamo? It wouldn't have anything to do with the fact that it's not US territory in legal terms, would it? Radical Muslims are a problem to both the Western and Islamic world, or do you suppose people like being blown to pieces on a bus? I'm calling you a racist not because what you say, but because you're generalizing.
micvrom 7 months ago
What question am I avoiding?? And how the fuck do you know they're not guilty?? The prisoners at Guatanamo (a US naval base, so yes it's US territory) are captured Taliban fighters, or people the CIA has been monitoring via their e-mails, their terrorist connections etc. and if water boarding them means saving the lives of NON-muslims then I have no problem with it whatsoever. If you're such an islamic sympathizer, then try researching how fair and friendly Sharia laws is by comparison.
JohnQRandom 7 months ago
@JohnQRandom Right on!
LoStMaYhEm305 6 months ago
@micvrom
JohnQRandom 7 months ago
@JohnQRandom May I remind you that you took the debate to the Muslim subject? So you're not a racist, you only limit yourself to Muslims, is that the problem? Don't accuse me of changing the subject when that's what you're doing. Why did the US choose Guantanamo? And to an extend: do you agree with what is happening there?
micvrom 7 months ago
@micvrom
JohnQRandom 7 months ago
@micvrom
Also, I've already told you (although I would never waterboard someone myself), I do not have sympathy for Taliban islamists or those who are conspiring against westerners with the intent to kill us in the name of their religion. Therefore I am not opposed to the treatment the prisoners have received while being detained there.
JohnQRandom 7 months ago
@JohnQRandom Not opposed does not equal agreed. No great democracy should treat any living person that way. Especially not while pointing a finger at Cuba.
micvrom 7 months ago
@micvrom
JohnQRandom 7 months ago
@JohnQRandom And that is the problem that people have with the US. The arrogance. You don't think the people had it better under Batista, the US backed and controlled Cuban regime before the revolution do you? Practically the entire island was illiterate for example. The revolution has brought (among other things, good and bad) literacy, free health care for everyone, a better educational system and freedom from US control. At least, if the embargo would be lifted at last.
micvrom 7 months ago
@micvrom
JohnQRandom 7 months ago
I really don't think you give a shit about the Cuba embargo any more than you care about Taliban prisoners in Guantanamo. It seems your primary interest is bitching at so-called "arrogant Americans" who don't buy into your leftist jargon. If it was up to me, I'd lift the embargo myself, however the point is Fidel Castro himself is responsible for his country's woes, not I and not the American public. Also remember, it was "arrogant Americans" who helped liberate your country from the Nazis.
JohnQRandom 7 months ago
@JohnQRandom The US wasn't mad with power back then as they are these days. There's plenty of documentaries to choose from really. And don't get me wrong, I don't have America, I don't have its citizens. I do however strongly condemn what the US government is up to behind our and especially your backs. And the citizens that believe everything they do is for world peace are just brainwashed by the propaganda machine, one Hitler himself would be jealous of. War made easy.
micvrom 7 months ago
@micvrom
Americans are VERY aware that MOST governments are dishonest, including their own. And stop comparing the US government to that of the NAZIS. That my friend is total Euro-liberal bullshit propaganda at its finest.
JohnQRandom 7 months ago
@JohnQRandom Shutt he fuck up. You know what almost casw ww3? The fact that US was giving nuclear arms to Turkey and europe. So please, shut the fuck and go back to school
mw3imin 7 months ago
@mw3imin
Wrong. Soviet missiles being secretly shipped to Cuba is what almost caused WW3, it gave way to what is well known as "The Cuban Missile Crisis", RESEARCH IT.

@Requiemoflife1 I'm glad you're a Canadian too. We can travel to Cuba all we want. In fact we have a military base there, you might have heard of it.
1980PintoMan 8 months ago
@Requiemoflife1 Yep. Canadian people are free to travel anywhere, and the best and the brightest usually travel to the United States -- and stay! It's called "brain drain." Ha, ha, ha.....doesn't that suck. I mean, with the coldest temperatures in North America, why wouldn't you want to travel to Cuba. Meanwhile, in south Florida, Cuban-Americans are ready for one helluva celebration when this old bastard bites it for good.
JohnnyTRex99 8 months ago
@JohnnyTRex99
Your "best" and "brightest" are foreigners. Canada's scientific corps AND engineering corps are mostly Asian, which explains your high number of Chinese, Korean and Indian population. Please educate yourself. ; )
