what!!!! they make a competition gun and leave the garbage trigger from the 4.5!!!!!!!??? I thought competition guns were suppose to have good triggers? I guess that's good news for you so you can sell your trigger kits. I'm thinking about selling my xdm because of the crappy trigger.
@du9207 You can get the XDM 5.25 with custom shop triggers, but even the stock trigger on this pistol is better than most $700 1911's. I think it is good to give a low starting point and let people do what they want instead of slapping a $1000 price on it. I have never seen a $700 stock gun shoot the groups these things are shooting.
Thanks for the vid. On the rear sight could you change it if you had to by pulling that pin? Or is the pin pressed in by SA? It appears that the rear sight has a decently wide cut anyway, just curious. TIA.
What ranges were those steel targets? It's difficult to tell from the video. Thanks!

Since the lowers don't change I wish they would have made it an option to just buy the uppers. Like an AR

@Mr1gun The stock trigger is exactly the same as the XDM 4.5 triggers and the pull ranges from 5-7#'s typically

Nice video - and great shooting.

The rear sight has a .125" notch. You could pull the pin to remove the sight, but you might not be able to get it back in without some assistance.
