  • these look like he has some dang lawnmower engines on his head wtf....imma stick to my pro beats rather than these wind turbines

  • @kaemenrice

Yea you better do that , these are for listening , not a fashion item like the shit you already got :D

  • @kaemenrice Yeah as jeaaman already said, that's good for you. Their sound quality is vastly inferior to the HD800's so enjoy your $400 headphones with $130 sound quality.

  • @kaemenrice yep have fun with your headphones with a pathedic freqency range thats the same as apple ipod earphones

  • @kaemenrice lol soo many haters that hate... but for a good reason. beats at most serve as a headphone that "looks" good. you can find a headphone with the same frequency response and better build quality for 50 bucks. but if you like the way it looks, go ahead and buy 400$ earmuffs.

  • @kaemenrice lol @ people like you

  • @kaemenrice (Facepalm) Another sucker who got baited with SHT-Beats by Dr. Dre.

  • the white version of beats

  • Girl=free + Tequila bottle=$20==

best sounds I'll ever hear next to my ears and for a fraction of the cost ^_^

  • I like wearing these when i listen to Rebecca Black because i want everyone to hear my music

  • its crazy big man no one gonna buy this....

  • @SuperErdenebaatar They're actually really comfortable on the head. They are very light-weight compared to most higher-end headphones.

  • @SuperErdenebaatar Actually (for a high end headphone) they sell like butter ;)

  • @SuperErdenebaatar People who like music buy this. Let me guess, you have Skullcandys, iBuds or Beats...?

  • @DemiAps Nope the audeze lcd2's are far superior then these.

  • @DemiAps people who really like music go and buy high quality hifi speakers and no freakin headphones...

  • @devilbeastie Yes, because speakers are ideal when on the move and are very transportable. They are also ideal when one has roommates... and they are a lot cheaper than headphones.

  • @DemiAps Indeed! you just need a big kitbag^^

But who the hell would pay 1400 bucks for a pair of headphones instead of buying good speakers and maybe a cheaper headset for bout 150bucks (beyerdynamic dt 770 e.g.)? that headset would sound very veeery nice and could easily stiff the hole of not listening to music due to loudness circumstances.

hifi speakers for 1300bucks sound really nice, too. klipsch speakers e.g. blow your brain out...very smoothley and with great tone ;)

  • @devilbeastie Haha :) Have you tried 1400 dollar headphones?

  • so shit designed

  • id rather have peripheral vision thank you very much...

  • So this man bought these 1400 dollar headphones to listen to elevator music?

  • @JagermeisterDEER omg dude u r a comedian

  • i might as well go buy a stereo system and tape it to my head for this shit.

  • this headphone looks sick!!! i wonder how long i can hold until jizzing my pants with these

  • These are bigger than my pair

  • I was going to buy a pair of these, but then I got an arrow to the knee.

  • @diedie111590 wow really lol

  • Something tells me they leak...

  • MOTHER OF GOD.If I can shit money,I will probably buy this shit.

  • I hope they're actually that good and it's not just a marketing/placebo effect that makes people give ravew reviews.

  • Comment removed

  • @scottycatman I'm pretty sure they're that good. I've heard them before and they are simply amazing. The spacious sound stage, detailed sound signature, warm mids and the clear highs are amazing. Most people who buy these $1000+ headphones (including the Audeze LCD-2's) are pretty serious about their music and are quite experienced with audio equipment. The reviews are not because of marketing, unlike those of the Beats headphones (which are made by a lot of new headphone users).

  • @scottycatman No they sound really good.

  • @Satfgk *Correction They can make you jizz your pants.

  • if im going to spend 1500$ on a headset i would probably expect them to have a pussy.

  • @ky4ence So the 5k Stax SR-009 will be a harem, then?

  • im thinking of buying these for my iphone would that work?

  • @redsox0717 You're going to NEED a headphone amp.

  • @redsox0717 Well it COULD work but it would sound terrible. You would definitely need a better source and amplifier to power the 300 ohm HD800's.

  • @nukeshockhybrid No offense, but ED10 sucks. Horrible performance considering the price paid.

  • pioneer > sennheiser.

  • @2431346 It actually can be great combination: Pioneer and Sennheiser

  • @craneywatch

    and denon.

  • @2431346 Do you really think that Denon is good amp? Do you like it more than Pioneer?

  • @craneywatch

I'm talking about noise cancelling headphones. Denon and pioneer are both excellent.

  • @2431346 Ok, I got it. Your were talking about Denon and Pioneer canceling headphones. By the way, which headphones are your favorite?

  • @craneywatch

    Denon.

  • THIS and 3 months on road

  • These or a high-class prostitute all night no limits.

  • i would rather buy a turtle beach px5, astro a40s, triton ax pros, a ps3, blackops, preorder mw3 and spend whats left on mexican food.

  • AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • oh and anyone who even mentions beats and are better in the same sentence is getting killed

  • @T16Akatsuki

so you're going to kill yourself? you used both in the same sentence

  • for 1400 dollar they better shave my ballls too!!!!!

  • @fall0rn they do they also change your oil in your car

  • @fall0rn for me it is actually better buying those headphones and spending $1400, than spending $1600 for custom made IEMs.

  • @fall0rn Ofcourse your balls will "feel" shaved once you spend 1400 + taxes along with many other things!!

  • OMG!!!! That thing is eating his head!!!!

  • these or a car...?

  • @dforcefan1213 I'd never feel safe buying a car that cheap.

  • @thegrimyeaper lol joking

  • @thegrimyeaper I totally agree. I'd rather buy this than a car that cheap. And just like @XtremePhysx said, you can't compare this with a car. They are both totally different things.

  • @dforcefan1213 the car is way more useful than this headphones.

  • @dforcefan1213 These.

  • @dforcefan1213 is there a car for 1500$? I've never seen one! but I guess a piece of shit of a car! nevertheless I'd take these

  • These or a car.....?

  • they cost less than my goalie pads....

  • for $1400 i better get some sucky sucky, love you long time when they are delivered

  • @T16Akatsuki lol

  • For 1400 they better make that mans hair cells reproduce.

  • These speakers are so powerful that they will make falls off your hairs like with this guy.

  • my ultrasones edition 10 are better than these had them sold them and got the edition 10 nvr made a better decision before in my life =D

  • @nukeshockhybrid they're about twice the price

  • Are these better than Pioneer HDJ- 2000's ?

  • @CrazyDayDreamer69 Yes, definitely.

  • i think i understand the message ".. going nuclear"

  • did you get your Squeezebox with you ?

  • 0:13

    Commentator on the background:

    "Ea, Crytek and Codemasters"

  • What would happen if i wore a troll mask, went in there, jumped over the bars, took the headphone off that fella, throw it on the ground and step on it 5 times, and run away for my life?

  • @Urstupidumbass

Get caught, fined $1000 dollars for no other reason than you being a jealous dumb animal shit?

  • @darkzerk7 im not jealous, if i want it, i would have gotten it. calm down

  • @calypsobomber Ok, then why did you say they were intended for mixing music? You can hear your surroundings and the frequency response isn't close enough to flat. If you want to mix music, you'll want a flat response right?

  • @calypsobomber Wrong, wrong. As you said, you just don't get it. Unfortunately, the weakest chain in "hi-fi" gear is bad mastered music. But no EQ can make it sound better. If you have good music, amp and flat headphones and no EQ, it sounds good.

  • Nice review of man xD

  • Ok so they leak... will they blend?

  • @calypsobomber They aren't necessarily intended for mixing music. They are great if you want less pressure on your ears or if you want to hear your surroundings. Why would you want manufacturers to color the music? It makes no sense. You'll get headache from a dominating frequency range. You can still color them to your taste when they are accurate, so what's your point?

  • They must be leaking a lot! I had AKG K701 and it was terible.

  • @cortkatanakx1q That's because AKG is wiring their headphones in reverse polarity! The more bass is in the program material, the worse they sound. I consulted with their engineer about it and he insisted that I couldn't possibly hear it. They should fire the stupid bastard if they know what's good for them.

  • @49kasey But they lack bass and are not even flat. New AKG products are just joke. I also bought K242HD and they are just plastic joke. Even closed headphones leak, but they have dampened higher freqencies so it's not a big deal. I'm looking for good, closed and flat sounding headphones with comfortable velour earpads. I'm currious how ultrasone pro 900 with overdone bass sound.

  • @cortkatanakx1q Did you listen to the AKG K240? It's been around for a long time and is an industry standard.

Sennheisers all sound grainy. I think the top value for any transducer today, be it headphone, phono cartridge, microphone, (and maybe even loudspeaker) is with Japanese designs. I would give a very serious listen to Audio-Technica phones.

  • @49kasey Unfortunately, I haven't heard K240. But K242HD are the same as new K240 mkii. I have to go to some serious hifi shop or exhibition. I'd like to hear top models of Denon, Ultrasone, Sony and Audio Technica as you said.

  • @cortkatanakx1q I know a shop in Cambridge, Mass that has more headphones than you've ever seen. If you live nearby I'll give you the info.

  • @cortkatanakx1q I was just talking with my buddy at Audio Lab. China is counterfeiting AKG headphones and most likely other brands as well. Bad for everybody. I heard a real pair of K701's when they came out and they were the best things I ever heard but like I said, I could tell they were wired reverse polarity because I had an older pair of K501's that were the same way.

I don't know why you'd want something that sounds "flat". Know what I mean? Like dry and dead?

  • @49kasey Yeah, I know, they are some fakes on market. Too bad. But directly from distributor should be original. Not to mention that AKG makes all new headphones in China; lot of them with the same drivers. I have also old K530Ltd and they are quite good even made in China. Building quality is just better than new K242HD.

I don't want "flat" headphones necessarily. I'm not a basshead but AKGs lack bass. I just want clear sounding and enjoyable headphones.

  • @cortkatanakx1q if you want clear sound well defined through entire spectrum I may also recommend Grado series. Especially Grado SR 325is. This one could be great option for you. There is no boomy dominating bass but nice clear sound.

  • @49kasey I'm concerned about my hearing. I use headphones quite a lot with PC and with open backed headphones you are forced to listen on higher volumes. So that's why I'm looking for closed and good sealed headphones.

  • @cortkatanakx1q I listen the same way. You're looking for presence and authority, especially in the male voice range. Don't assume that open back phones can't deliver that. The problem with closed back phones is that they have to be heavy or else they'll sound boxy, like cheap speakers, so they're uncomfortable. The AKG 240 is the only headphone that has remained on the market for decades. But there's an Audio Technica that was Class A rated by Stereophile. Where do you live?

  • @49kasey Denons or limited Ultrasones have wooden cups. AT W1000X too. I live in Slovakia - no problem with buying but trying them.

  • @49kasey Man, I miss AKG K701! They produced truly accurate and smooth sound! Now, I cannot find them!

  • @craneywatch I have a pair. x3 Love 'em! Though, to be honest.... just a /bit/ more visceral bass... But other than that, the imaging takes me away... I couldn't go back to listening to anything less... Next buy is an Ultrasone Pro900 for my bass tastes! <333

  • @DragonnReising To be honest, I think you should give a hefty try to hi fi speakers. I think you might have forgotten the true texture of sound coming from big source.

  • @craneywatch I know a place in the US that sells them. I made an earlier reference to them in this thread. Their number is 617-864-1144.

  • @49kasey thank you

  • Woah, on the table is the 'little Orpheus' !!!! best headphone ever ever ever!!

  • Woah, on the table is the 'little Orpheus' !!!!

  • Not bad but there's still no contest. Y'all need a good history lesson. Sennheiser's own ORPHEUS Full Electrostatic Head-Speakers from about 17(?) years ago, which most of you kiddies wouldn't have a clue about. (Google it!) They were something like US$13,000 (?) Best headphone I've ever seen or tried and nothing since has even come close. It even came with its own tube amp which itself shames even most home amps. In a league of its own.

  • Respond to this video... Of course this is something that every man can afford... come on, now, be sensible. I know I'd be uncomfortable knowing that there was 25,000 volts floating around my ears. And when the elements fried, WOW, look out! And what would it cost to repair them? I had a pair of Audio-Technica electret condenser phones years ago and they went bonkers too. Neither of those designs are practical for phones.

  • Commander, we hace lift off. Now landing on the moon, over.

  • Bottom line is listen for yourself. Sure, I've been "impressed" by many many products along my audio path but not always engrossed emotionally by them. I'm going to listen to these tomorrow and see what they do for me. I know when I love a product because I don't pay any attention to it while it's doing it's thing...

  • my top 5 worlds best headphone list(under 1500$)

    1) Audez’e LCD2

    2) Hifiman HE6

    3) Sennheiser HD800

    4) Beyerdynamic T1

    5) Grado PS1000

  • @Thepremiumagent

    Fantastic list mate.

With a really killer amp i put the HE-6 above the LCD-2 tho..

  • @ManicMindTrick

yeah,i currently use hifiman ef5 with my he6,even my woo 6 tube amp can not drive it properly...he6 has best treble quality(classical gener lover) ,while lcd2 has better bass(rock friends) ...i love both...i am planing to buy Burson's HA160D solid state amp,,, it does drive the Hifiman HE-6 and the Audez’e LCD2 simultaneously..just 990$.

  • it has a flame shield (no mic)

  • haha imagine the guy was like "Oi mate! Stop fucking hanging over my head!"

  • amazing but not the best,,its among the top 4 headphones in the worls

  • @Thepremiumagent it is best because of its quality not just sound !

  • @inTubeHD my lc2 made as good as this germen HD800

  • @Thepremiumagent Do you think I should get an amp if I get the Sennheiser HD595 headphones? the soundcard I would be getting is the ASUS Xonar ST, and it has an amp already built into it, I'm wondering if there would be even any point in getting another amp... also I'm wondering if the HD595's would be good for gaming... the 600's and 650's are suppose to be better, but it's not clear what they are better at, they may be better for music, but what about gaming? do you happen to know? Thanks :-)

  • Leaky as hell but when you're spending £1000 on a pair of headphones I suppose that wouldn't matter to you...

  • no one wants to buy best price product.

  • could someone who is quite knowledgable in headphones please answer this! i need to know which is best for me bearing in mind that i need something with deep, punchy bass (i listen to a lot of rock, metal and drum and bass) : sennheiser hd 595, hd 600 or grado 125i. if there is any other type i shoulld look at please tell me!

  • any idea what's the most suitable amp for this baby?

cuz we seem to have a hard time getting the right amp for this one

  • hi,

i cant choose between to the

    sennheiser hd,215, 428, 438

wich should i choose and why?

    help

  • @dutchcrimesNL Ik zou de HD 438 nemen, check deze site ff bax-shop(.)nl

  • @dutchcrimesNL get the hd 448* or the hd-280 pro

  • @dutchcrimesNL the hd-280's are very good headphones even on integrated audio, add an X-FI extremegamer and you are good to go, exactly the same for the 448's but the hd-280's are a bit pricey so if you wanna get good sound but be rather cheap about it go with the 448's.

  • @dutchcrimesNL get the AKG k 530's

  • those headphones are HUGE

  • @xaxnewxme u care about looks more then the music itself lol grow up honestly your probably from America too LOL

  • @BlackflamezzProduct I dont know what they sound like. I was just saying I dont like the way they look so either grow up and get over it or even better shut the fuck up nobody cares about you or what you think..... honestly.

No thanks I dont wanna grow up.

  • This said check my collection of high-end dynamic headphones. Including the HD800.

  • If only I was rich...

  • loooooool

  • You are filth. You do not deserve to wear such technological excellence.

  • price for performance ratio on these is terrible

  • No. They are of the highest quality imaginable.

  • @Jamiesyme999

For those who do not own them. Price to performance ratio is very good, these sound more like high-end monitor speakers than headphones.

Match them with a Benchmark or Grace headphone amp/DAC and speak again.

  • headphones is just a hobby like watches and cars/bikes and it even costs less, but there were just too many people who dont think this way =)

  • for 1400 dollars they better clean my house for me.

  • why do people have to be rich to buy $1400 headphones? that's not that much money these days

  • @kkgtyf yes it is. obviously you are very rich and are not affected by the ressession or you are just plain ignorant of the world around you. the ps3 slim is 300 dollars, and it plays blu ray 1080p movies, stores 60+ GB of multimedia data, plays incredible HD games, and all your headphones do is produce sound.

  • @PowerSprinter You critique others spelling yet you can't even spell recession right.

  • ... too big.

  • awesome headset, but 1400$ is 'a bit' too expensive??!

  • i've bought one of these and i love it!!! ^.^

  • @karlos7eberl i bet you have a good job ^^

  • you can buy 10,000 watts speaker system with these...

  • or you can buy the best headphones known to man kind,

  • kingrex hq-1 is a very good match with these

  • dammm them some HUGE HEAD PHONES . well maybe there good for me since i got a big head.

  • who the hell would pay 1400$ for a pair of head phones??

  • Me and a few others who demand this level of accurate reproduction. These are not even close to the most expensive BTW.

  • rich people! haha, but i'll stick with my PC 350's

  • Audiophiles....

  • Best headphone in the world,...no. Among the four best, a resounding YES(shure thing).

The other contenders are from Stax, Denon, Grado and Audio Technica.

After a good few hours of critical listening I prefer the Grado PS1000.

Check my clips, I show some of my collection, including the HD800.

  • You, sire, are rich.

  • @bsod4u2 wow, you spend that much on headphones and can't spel "sure" right. how did you get the money to get those headphones

  • @PowerSprinter

Sure thing Mr. Linguist , how can I get those? Maybe I work ,maybe I do not spend on other things people consider important but I consider a waste of money. Who gave you the right to ask personal questions?

  • @bsod4u2 yeah i was being a little bitch on that one. my bad.

  • @PowerSprinter spel? lol

  • @whONeEDZNaDeZ haha, i didnt catch t
