Hi de hi.......sad, but these type of camps are gone...in favour of money grubbing Haven and their moeny trap amusement arcades. They are so tight the entertainemnt staff work in the bar and shops at the one in Porthmadog, and they asked the kids to bring light up toys etc as they didnt have disco lights!! they have a sales office onsite for 42 grand residential caravans though!!!!
They'll come in and rip it all down, beautiful, old trees and all. It's all in the name of "progress." They'll probably just push it all into the water. :-/
Thanks for another excellent Harcourt vid. This one truly brought tears to my eyes. I have such happy memories of the place and it breaks my heart to see it like this. I used to live on site in one of the Cherry chalets, already demolished before the site closed. I also met my husband in Whites. How I wish we could turn back the clock and save Harcourt Sands! Keep up the good work and keep the vids coming. :O)
