Yes, she did write over 70 percent of the lyric to every hit song by Mac and is directly lyrically responsible for the vast majority of the success but Mac is Mac and Stevie's solo career just her own.Anyone who second guesses Stevie has been proven WRONG! Let her words speak for her and stop second guessing the queen!She will just prove you wrong.
I really believe that the rest of the band underestimated Stevie for a long time.She really had to prove herself. I also believe that Lindsey was very jealous of her success for years. In my opinion Stevie was the driving force , sound wise, in Fleetwood Mac. They never would have had that special sound without her.
@LaceSilk Yes they had a special sound, when they were a blues band, they had Peter Green. But, one must understand that Green's Fleetwood Mac which was blues music, and the Fleetwood of the late 70s are two different bands.
