  • Cezanne is one of the great watercolor painters. He used the least amount of strokes and he wasnt afraid to use the white of the page

  • i really love his art!!!...

  • this is the era at an end. the time of grace before WW1 ripped the old world to shreds.

  • Reminds me an other artist Maurice Experton from the same part of France. Not as famous. Few pictures on the net but one website I found.

  • @obedtron Ah well, painting's invoke a feeling, the painter takes you on a journey through their eyes,an while his form of painting is the use of hard lines an rich colours there is an intensity to it that might be unnerving to some. Cezanne if you read what he wrote of himself was himself uncertain of his talent wanting always to be different from his fellow painter's an so he is

  • do you think this would be early cubism?

  • I dont like his pictures that MUCH.. But he is a great artist ..

  • All be honest with you, I used to think art (old paintings) were very boring and could never be bothered to take the time to study them, but since I started my course which has Art History in it I have come to really appreciate it and I am even thinking of doing it at university.

  • very cool !!

  • It goes a bit fast. But otherwise very good - very well chosen music

  • Thanks! A brilliant painter with eyes turned to the world of things and beings. Just that. Pure atmospheres, bright colors, precise structures and deep attention to the real. What a fight this man proposed for himself and that has changed the path of the art!!

  • Bravo Brenda.
