  • When someone tells you to use your head, don't take it too literal :P

  • "My name is bruce Wen again" Hello Bruce Wen Again.

  • IT IS METAL NOT ME'AL OOOOOO HAHAHHAHAHA

  • @Daretostoppp not funny dork....i bet he could crush your skull with one chop hahaha that! lol

  • Use your head and don't try to use your head to break a bar.

  • batman is Chinese , Damn !!!!

  • wish i learned this before i got hit on the head :P

  • NOW LET ME SHO U SID WAH! PUT TO OF EM TOGATER!

  • hay ha ha ha i tried with with iron metal i was injured then i tried with hard [brittle hard] metal after 2 years of my injury it worked but hits very hard

  • years of impacting on the skull causes excessive bone thickening..look at the shape of his "breaking area"..they also nearly all have stutters from minor brain damage.

  • now i bureak too metal

  • Kung fu Fighters are really magicians

  • i bet he cud totally kick ass in a street fight.. i wud call him in for back up lol

  • i want to say "hello welcome to city wok."

  • lol. ive seen a shaolin monk do the iron head technique before. but he used a metal bar 3 times as thick and i dont think it came from the hardware store.

  • Lmao! after he breaks it he pushes his arm down as a energy releasing technique i gues o.0, but it looks like he is like "FUCK that hurt like a bitch", ok next one.

  • He just made two new ways of sex LOL Horse stance and Bow stance hah

  • break one metal

  • I think all that bar breaking has affected his brain.

  • can i ask you just something. are you monks go to school for minde education not punching xd

  • Shaolin Monks: you are about to be beaten to death by holy men! lol ^_^

  • 100% metal an its "kinda hard" kinda? what is he used to smashing?

  • You'll get a headache the rest of your life AHAH

  • please dont hurt me 3=

  • The 29 people who disliked this got their heads damage cause they didnt listen to the monk

  • that's the first time in the videos in see jhonny smiling :)

  • I LOVE YOU MAGICAL ASIAN FANTA MAN

  • But can you break a one inch thick concrete wall with your head

  • at 2:18... prove it :D

  • wow a super consontraition !!

  • Guys, this guy is NOT a Shaolin Monk. He has probably just studied with them for a few months.

  • @Sparclen how could you learn to break bars on your head in a few months

  • @chimpygamer

You could do it too, the composition of this material is so that it is easily breakable.

You can see that because it actually breaks into 3 parts, which would make no sense if he focused his 'chi' on one spot.

In fact, this is easier to do with his metal strips (not bars, as you say. Breaking a metal bar on your had is not possible) then with a twig.

Try to break a soft twig, and you will fail. Smash this metal thing on a table and it will break into pieces.

  • @Sparclen ahh i get what you mean now my quality was crap i was watching on phone the strips looked like bars i just watched from my laptop and could see they were extremely thin strips

  • Hi I Bruce I shaolin master I hit my head with metal many years .

  • 100% metal...?

  • its not hard ok?? "it's kinda hard" ok??

  • steel doesn't break easy like that. The force require to snap a piece of steel that short is quite big, and the piece of steel broke in 2 different places, one of the shorter piece was probably 1-3" at most, if you try to snap 2" of steel off a bar, it's would take a huge piece of machinary, let alone 1 dude who's barely 5'2.

  • @warlock110 your just jealous. and height isn't a factor.

  • @FireVortex720 FYI height = size, 90% of the time if some dude is bigger it's most likely he's stronger. and no I'm not jealous, I can live happily without breaking iron on my head.

  • @warlock110 well it depends though if the steel has a very high carbon content which makes it hard but brittle then you can probably do that but you might cause a fountain of blood shooting to the roof

  • @barneywee so you think this is real? FYI I have friends who practice similar stuff and does demonstration... I know how it works... in fact I bet those steel stick can be put back together after he break them.

  • @warlock110 yeah i think its real cuz i think that steel is brittle probably just need around 100-200 lbs of force to break that. But If they were to use proper steel one with a good balance of iron and carbon it would be unlikely

  • So what if you can break a metal bar on your head .... i can demolish a chocolate bar with my mouth

  • im guessing he cant speak english so well not because studied hard, but if you notice, hes really... REALLY trying hard to focus... guess someone pushed slightly too hard >_>

  • Dont do this at home (2 seconds later) MOOOOOOOOOMMMM I GOT METAL STUCK IN MY HEAD!!!

  • so all you need is to buy ONE piece of metal and you can use it for years and years...till you can break it? got it

  • 28 people tryed and failed

  • This wouldn't be my ideal career choice

  • I appreciate what he is doing because I understand the nature of it, as a martial artist myself. I use two 2-pound hammers for my "Iron Stomach" training, along with the lower ribs, arms, legs, and other parts of my body. This is real training designed for real people starting at "level zero" and progressing as far as each person desires.

  • i think it is funny how he always tell how much he can break but he only shows a fraction of it! still pretty good tho!

  • it's funny cause most of the people commenting think this is real.

  • That alloy that he is using has been tempered so highly that it has become brittle like glass. Simply dropping it on the floor would shatter it.

Check out the first one he breaks. It breaks at the point of impact and also breaks about 3 inches along. What a con.Thumbs down.

  • thats some fragile metal

  • He is immune to headshots.

  • I think that startin a fight with this dude is simply asking for trouble. Ever heard of the expression 'Having your ass handed to you on a plate!?' hahahaha

  • Ok so these are made out of metal.. ok, one hundred percent metal.. and its kind hard. - made me laugh/

  • when do you ever use that on the battlefield? xD

  • @PpTheMovie If he gets into a fight and you punch him/hit him in the head it wont hurt him...and seeing as most people swing for the head this is very useful

  • @playstationplayer123 Better than that, it'll shatter the guy's knuckles

  • No wonder he's so fuckin retarded, and he always slurs his words

  • @SongsLyricsAnd I'd like to see you try to fight him one on one. I'd pay to see you get taken down by this guy.

  • lol i bet after this was over he was all like "aahhhhh why the hell would I do that?!?!" *sob*

  • why would you break shit with you head?

  • i can catch a bullet with my teeth, you guys should try too!

  • if u watch his videos he shows off and tells what he can do like... i can do six peices of metal but im only gonna do 2 (=.=)

  • SHIT MI HEAD!! =$............XD XD

  • should not have the audience inspect the metal if the audience is wearing conspicuous orange robes

  • I love this guy he's such a sweetheart lmao bt he is funny!

you can tell from his face that it hurts him yet when you see most shaolin do this they have faces of steel!

  • i love choilin

  • hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaai he has a big had hhhhhhhhhhhh

  • "It's all 100% metal and it's kind of hard."?

    Kind of hard?

  • I'm going to move to Vancouver, BC in another year or so. Does anyone know of any places where I can learn these skills.

  • Very good... But, bars not hit back...

  • why does the metal bar always break excactly the same way?

  • Cheap trick, this is probably high carbon cast-iron, quite hard but very fragile.

Try the same with real steel.

  • @franekk it says iron dumb shit, steel is obviously harder

  • @Gimbo1337 thats what its made for

  • @franekk you've got to respect that this technique is probably over 1000 years old and cast iron was about as hard as materials were back then.

  • i want that monk robe

  • Okay

  • after every sentence he says o.k

  • hardened iron = works fine

Steel = Bye bye head :3

  • So he's been headbutting stuff since a child...Ow the joy XD

  • his head must be as hard as a rock.....

  • later that day this man was killed. Chuck Norris took full blame for the murder, saying the reason he kille dhim was because"he stole my special nutri-grain bars".

  • dam it

his head is as hard as a diamond

  • don't try this at home (Y)

  • What if i have a Phd In Phyisics err what ever and my head is very very strong, :) If a human can do it i can too :( but i will not because your right, besides its metal.

  • cos thats REALLY smart to tell people "you can get these at any hardwere store" O-O GL CRUSHING UR HEADS PPL :<

  • OK OK time to incorporate energy to my head vooooom vooom vooooom

  • Never piss off a monk. Underneath those robes are rock hard abs and huge biceps.

  • get a job

  • im gonna go try this at home

  • each plate breaks in THREE parts.. let me think.. now WHY is that?.. Isn't supposed to break in TWO, since there is a single continuous surface of impact?.. hmm I guess I cannot figure out THAT by myself!

  • i think it must be really brittle.

  • omfg thats a bullshit .... that metal sounds like alu. mixed with really poor metal....i bet him i can do that too with that crap metal....and btw shaolin bla bla bla

  • I Wouldn't fuck with this guy if i had a gun!

  • that looks easy

  • Don't try this at home......(20 seconds later) you can get this metal at any hardware store. LOL

  • @andreo22 lol yeah i ROFLD too..but come on give the guy a break he is trying his best and by the looks of it is kinda nervouse in front of the camera..

  • verry well.....

    But metal...dont headbutt back!!!

  • He's been doing it since 10.... that explains ALOT

  • what kind of metal are you using?

  • @Preenze

100% metal DUHH cant u llisten

  • on yhe first sideways it broke before it got to his head

  • we get this kind of metal and wood for show proposes

even a little kid could do it

  • I believe those bars can break any other person with a bit fighting skills :)

  • not monk...good vid,ok guy, fine stuff...just no monk...i dont doubt kung fu...he is fine on that...just has orange on ...not a monk..i could be wrong ,but i think not...nice jov..not monk i think..nice head work ..not to detract..

  • ahhhhhh bruce wen it like a robot i think he can do that

  • this not metal this is glass

  • @TroniXish

Metal can be made brittle very easily.

  • @All Believers.

He is no Monk, he is just a bod guy wearing an orange suit making kung fu moves.

He knows some kung fu level 2.

Youtube for Shi Dejian to see a real monk.

  • hes cheating!

  • break one metal and when he said may i have the audience to come and break some metal it sounded like he said medal

  • I think people should research b4 talking crap. this is real those guys train for years and its not a simple training their training is super hardcore

  • Superheaton is right :-)

My guess that the metal would also break just by falling down.

I think these videos are all one big crank and that the orange dude is laughing at us. :-)

  • @liltranga nahh, these things are thin, but you couldnt smash them easily. It could be done, but you would need to train your body a bit before hand. i got 1

  • @liltranga i think not because its on dicovery and history channel ( theyre training) they hang by theyre neck at the age of 6-8 to strenghten theyre neck and they do loads of hardcore stuff all day since they where kids as he said himself hes been training since he was a kid

  • you gotta do something in your free time^^

  • why they break in multiple places?

  • Johnny rocks

  • i can break as many as 6, but today ill show u how to break ur head

  • Too much hating?

Even if the metal is brittle, it doesn't mean that it isn't hard or that it doesn't hurt.

And why would anyone push themselves to their utter limit just to make a video that's going up on Youtube? If you're going to make an instructional video on weightlifting, you don't lift your limit, you lift smaller weights to show how to do it properly and not hurt yourself.

  • this probably hurts, but unquenched metal like that isn't that hard to break.

  • stop studying kung-fu and start studying english i don't understand half the stuff u say

  • metal dont break by that ? metal bends

  • @DarkAttack1 yes that sort does they are metal bars

  • The little 11yrs old chinese who is the verificator of all this not look so shure if they are reals?

  • Advanced? Try doing this with your other head.

  • @opawari lucky i popped a watermellon in half one time by slamming my finger at it. I tried again and have never done it again lol

  • Thats why he is so dumb He was breaking metal bars over his head since he was little, wich obviousely gave him a brain damage/decay.

  • @hom3R1000 Not realy with proper training your skull would become harder. Some one like you who knows nothing about training if you tried it it would damage your brain. shalolin people tend to spend several hours a day of studying and the other have training.

  • @hom3R1000 It seemed more like he just has a little trouble with English...

  • tht metal is thin

  • lol he kinda reminds me of borat the asian version tho

  • lol another cheater ... i bet he is acting in america as every kung fu cheaters :D

this 2 pieces of metal was so cracky that little girl can break them on her head ... :P

thats why he dab at each other so weak....

  • @ejokek true in a part, observe that the bar breaks in 3 pieces, 2 large and a small one, which has been weakned or cracked as you said.

  • ding!, tannk

  • iron head shit, doesnt stop a bullet or a knife in your head

  • @albertodreamboy

unless the knife is on the flat side :), he could easily break it ahaha

  • his human skull cant be stronger than any adult so im also gonna try that

  • sir, super

  • bullshit!

  • Olha umas das maravilhas que comecei praticar em americana São Paulo. como isto é bom, a alma fica leve, e o coração brilha como o sol.

  • no effin way

  • holy crap thats awesome

  • shaolin monks are emo's that are training the their whole life but what for?

but it still cool what they are doing..

  • that's what happens when you don't quench the metal.

  • omfg im tired oif theses advertisements

  • thats bullshit!

  • awsome

  • how can i put my energy in one place want to learn that!

  • Comment removed

  • Yall are haters. everyone of the video hes in yall just hate on him. He knows kung fu get over it.

  • To addon to what superheaton said the metal is treated in high temps causeing the meteal to become vary brittle includeing the size of the bar and the thinkness and torque and piviot points all the momentum is forced to the tips on the bar causeing it to snap not bend- But i will add tha this would be vary painful and dangerous to attempt (this trick is not hard nor dose it make them "iron-men" its simpley physics and mind over matter) but still amazing that they can do this...

  • These guys are trained professionals, if you have doubt, why not do it yourself and tell the difference.

  • ur a f*cking fraud

  • @AyoeeIssIttKriss Why dont you try it

  • Why not all of you ask piece of metal from him and try on your own head to know real or not???

  • Sigh some of you guys are so painfully dumb. If the metal is so brittle that it would break if dropped why does the broken piece not shatter into more pieces when it hits the ground? Second on the brick breaking video some dumb ass actually said it wasn't concrete blocks but foam. Anyways if anything these videos are a great testament to the adaptability of the human body. Anybody here can do these things, just requires years and years of practice every day.

  • WTF at their being some sort of trick? OK so the guy isn't breaking tank armor with his head, what a noob. Let me see you break a piece of wood or concrete. Let me see you hit yourself in the head with a piece of wood without having to go to the hospital. Geez everybody diminishing what this guy is doing would have 0 to say to his face.

  • I think he sort of, emphasizes that the bars are made of metal alittle too much brings in alittle doubt

  • In the other video they were breaking wooden sticks. Then why does he break steel bars with with his head? Could he do sticks too?

  • funny how wen you keep doing this for years finally your head looks like a rocket O_O

  • it is strange ... ALL BARS BREAK IN THE SAME PLACE ... But i trust the shaolin monk :)

  • sorry, but that metal looks nd sounds week

  • nah its not fake, ive seen a shaolin monk vid and you can do this with tons of training, and you i saw them bending spears with their neck

  • You can go to Shaolin Temple Los Angeles. The master there is an ordained Shaolin Monk, 34th Generation. watch the video.

shifu shi yan fan ordainment ceremony

  • That is a strong piece of metal. Looks like steel, which is iron with carbon content. Not sure how much is in it, but we all can conclude that it was brittle, which means it is hard. Metal that can bend easilly cannot be called hard lol. The trick here is the metal pieces were long and thin. By swinging it, it introduces lots of torque and mechanical advantage from breaking it near its pivot point.

Correct me if I'm wrong and let me know what you think is right.

  • correct, and he still needs to create enough force though and have stronger bone fibers through practice in order to have his skull not fracture.

  • @wingedsoul

all about no fear and focus only high level martial artist can do crazy shit.

  • @superheaton

Then do it yourself see what hapens ;)

  • @superheaton still the fact remains that it would hurt like hell ha ha

  • @superheaton regardless that shit would hurt if you just attempted it randomly. It always looks easy but ifyou try this weak metal or not its still gonna hurt like a bitch.

  • @superheaton go to the hardware store, buy a strip of metal and give it a try. let us know what happens

  • @superheaton naa u right bro same thing goes for wood breakin

  • @superheaton

than you smash it on your head

  • @superheaton its not the fact that the bar broke but that his head didnt... thats what makes it impressive

  • @superheaton if this is a real shoalin monk..shoalin monks train hours a day on every body part.it takes 2 years of head standing (2 hours) and hitting the head on a filled bag( 2 hours).

the trick is it doesnt effect them...puncture skin...or hurt them.

  • @superheaton

Some of you guys are taking it the wrong way when you're reading my above comment. I did not doubt his skills and training. And of course I understand that bone hardening takes years (Wolff's Law). I only mentioned the physics part of it, because it is of my interest. I have trained in martial arts for over 13 years and I respect his achievements. Please be open minded when reading my above comment.
