  • ...? this shouldnt happen to a toyota 4runner maybe something was wrong with urs

  • Those pictures is not the freeway asshole this is a lie!!!!!

  • @JapaneseErasersRule You're right...it was I-90 from Spokane to Seattle...near Ellensburg, Washington.

    Not a lie. Totally happened.

  • I had a 98 4runner and crashed it mothers day 2010. Well it was totaled but I hit a honda accord. My truck had a bent frame and did not have any problem with any thing on it. I not have a 03 highlander.

  • man all u guys need to learn to spell!

  • What model year was your Toyota?

  • @carfreak2795 It was a 1998 toyota 4 runner. It had 89 thousand miles on it.

Toyota came out and did an inspection in the vehicle. They sealed the report and refused to release it to me.

  • Oooo..see my first car might be an '02 4Runner with the sport package and ive read reviews about it and they r pretty good but ive also heard of tht massive recall they did a few years back about some ball joint problem

  • What is the cars name you bought after your burnt up 4runner

  • omg i hope your ok what kind of ingeries did u sastain

  • Um, it is their fault. Their cars were recalled for ball joint breakage for all the years surrounding the 1998 model that I was driving. The police report cited vehicle failure.

  • Did Nick. It was a major Toyota FAIL on this one....and how can you fix a problem you have no idea your car has? Took it in for the tune ups, had fresh new tires on it, loud metallic crunch and pop.....then....TOYOTA FAIL.

  • Its your fault that I blame everything on everybody else.

  • Was the problem proven to be a defect and is the toyota company taking responcibility? and reinborcing all your loses?

  • I walked away from the accident and without a serious injury no lawyer would take my case against Toyota. Toyota sent their engineer out to inspect my vehicle....they sealed the report "because we don't have to help you sue us."

  • serves you right

    4runners are shit

  • VERY glad you are okay and well. What injuries did you suffer? You are very heroic.

  • glad you are ok. i handled auto claims for 9 years and you are VERY lucky as you well know!

  • well, I was lucky to survive the accident...not so lucky to have it in the first place...

  • true but at least you weren't the one (this would be me) crashing into someone's car (rear-ender) in a company car (when you worked for an insurance company) *sigh*

  • oh ok! i hope your better! i have the new tundra and i feel safe in it!

  • speeding! and you lost control when the airbags deployed. all i know on the 4runner is that the suspections is stiff for the old modles ones!

  • Not speeding. 70 is the speed limit in Washington for that particular Interstate 90. I was set on cruise control and just rolling along enjoying the day....I no longer trust Toyota for building larger cars.

  • Whether or not she was speeding is irrelevant. Airbags don't deploy for no reason. There is clearly a vehicle defect of some sort. The driver isn't to blame for this accident, Toyota is.

  • shouldnt of been driving so fast....but im glad ur ok

  • It was the speed limit...not a mph over.

  • Speed wasn't a factor. The Airbags went off for no apparent reason, that's a defect, not driver error.

  • I lost a friend to a drunk driving crash...he was in a 4Runner (97 model) and was hit head-on by a drunk driver in a Saturn coupe. the 4Runner rolled several times, ejecting my friend (who was unbelted). I've heard that 4Runners are amongst the easiest SUV's to roll, alongside the Chevy Blazer. I am glad you're alive, and I cringe to think about what could've been if your daughter had been in the car...God Bless

  • Cherokee (Jeep) are just as bad if not worst brother rolled his not by accident but by high winds (70-80) for some odd reason it manege to push his 98 Jeep Cherokee 4x4 on its side.he came out un injor and furtunly his jeep only lost a couple of side windows and scratches but was still drivable...(Sorry my spelling kinda sucks)

  • Good to know that you're doing alright... Take care. Happy holidays...

  • I'm glad you survived...I had a similar accident but on June 21 and I survived too after the big skiding and rolling over...WE"RE BOTH LUCKY

  • What kind of car were you driving?

  • Rolling Over..I was a passenger, I'm only 17. But this video reminded me of my accident, 2 days before u

  • It was intense. I thought I got away uninjured, but it turns out I had a pretty serious head injury. I hope you are okay.

  • Yeah I am now..I had only broken my leg, but now I'm Fine.. It was VolksWagen Golf..It was my mum's cousin who was driving..we were 2.

  • Mine gave me Diabetes Insipidus. A disease where the body fails to recognize and process water....due to head injury.

  • IM ONE OF THE BLACK SOUL MEMBERS AND IM An ANGEL!!!!!! IT WAS ME WHO SAVE YOU CHARLIE, NOW GO TO CANDY MOUNTAIN TOO DONATE KIDNEYS

  • Yo, yo, yo! Can you say post-traumatic stress disorder? It sounds like there was a mechanical failure (the metal pop). Get a personal injury or product liability attorney and file a suit. It'll never go to court, it will be settled, but you could use that cash about now.

And fer crissakes, don't tell me "I'm not the litigious sort!" This is simply standard business practice in America and Toyota knows it. Good luck, dear.

  • wow I'm so glad you're okay!! stay strong!

  • wow, i'm glad you were able to walk away from that. it was truely a miracle. i hope you get well soon. :)

  • Get well soon!

  • congratulations on a lucky suvival
