  • One of the underrated musicians all time. He's an all around man. Done himself and everone around him proud and continues to do so at a young 57. Someone to aspire to for sure.

  • FREE was his greatest accomplishment.

  • We LOVE Freddie, We LOVE Paul, are we less of a fellowship if we love them both? Let's all just rock & roll dammit! Long live Rock, be it dead or alive! Long Live Rock! We won't be fooled again, Love Reign O'ver me, the show must go on-JW

  • Oh dear Paul, when did you lose your middlesbrough accent?

  • Paul Rodgers doing music lessons? HOLY SHIT that would be amazing! o_O

  • Interesting about the Doors story. Probably a good thing they didn't team up. Wouldn't have had Bad Company.

  • I see it. Its the eyes. A little Chuck, but what I really want to say is that now that I gave up drinking the best thing in the world to me is singing. I get what he's saying completely. There are only so many constructive, non addicitive things out there. Music is one for sure, Art is one for sure, Building things with your hands is one. Thanks Paul for representing something classy and healthy and positive.

  • I see it. Its the eyes. A little Chuck, but what I really want to say is that now that I gave up drinking the best thing in the world to me is singing.

  • I thought the same thing. I see Chuck Too!!

  • this is Chuck Norris brother!

  • I don't see Chuck in there at all...sorry!

  • paul rodgers in the doors... wow... safer than iggy.

  • Who CARES if he wears a toupe, his VOICE is still real, and that's the only thing that matters!

  • he's wairing a bloody herpes!...........thats HAIR PieCE!

  • Combining Paul and guitar great Robin Trower would fill many stadiums. Lest anyone forget, the late James Dewar was Robin's vocalist in the heady days of "Bridge of Sighs," "Twice Removed from Yesterday," etc. If unfamiliar with these, check my YouTube page for some samples.

  • met him in 2001...let me give him two huge hugs....then teased the shit out of me as I was so starstruck. I could hardly speak....very sweet but a little devil as well...

  • tulipp56 i am sooooooo jealous! :-))))))

  • Paul Rogers is my hero......what a wonderful endearing, talented individual.

  • great guy! I spent many hours with him in Portland back in the 90's. He is very down to earth and easy to talk to :)

  • i think paul actually has 3 children, he mentions "natalie" who i think may be his other daughter, steven and jasmine make up part of the english band boa, for anyone who wants to look them up. they are very good, and very original in thier style of music, i also love steves voice, hes very talented.

  • Paul has a Son who would pass as a reasonable facsimile to his father, however the boy has his own very unique approach to music, Good player

  • Does anyone know if he has kids of his own? Would be a crime if he didn't pass on his talent

  • yes, he has two they are brill at singing

  • Apart from his legendary voice, he's humble and down to earth...that's why HE IS OUR HERO

  • good job on enimens new songs

  • When he speaks he still sounds a bit like Paul Daniels. (But not a lot).

  • That's probably cos they are both from Middlesbrough :D

  • What a beautiful man I love him - why couldn't I have found him, married him and lots of his babies :-P xxxx

  • cos i would have gotten there first!! :-) lovingmusic

  • what's wrong with saying that? It was purely an innocent comment!!! please people lighten up!!!! live a little!!!

  • i liked your comment and its exactly my sentiments, if people objected i can assure you they are probably men!!!

  • Cosmos rocks album =great

  • Yeah brother!

  • funny, the photo of Bad Company in the background of the opening segment was the reformed Bad Co. with Robert Hart as their frontman...

  • hey man can i be a represenative for him when these fuckers come down to new orleans or the bayous where i am from these hurricanes destroy the bayou towns more like mine hehehehe

  • Rodgers is the man. Freddie the showman, rodgers the singer. No contest in the vocals department. Why do you think all the best rock/blues musicians want to play with him............

  • can't agree with you more dude

  • cheers to that, my friend...

  • why do people have to look at him as trying to "Repllace" Freddie Mercury? Why cant they judge Mercury and Rodgers as they are - two completely different and amazingly talented singers. If Brian May and the rest of Queen want to continue - what is wrong with that? Why must the two be compared? Why not just sit back and liten to both and enjoy? Lot of close-minded morons out there - damn shame...

by the way - Just my opinion, but I'll take Free over the lot of them anyday....

  • I agree. Freddie's dead. Life goes on.

    & Yea...Free was the Shit.

The first time I heard "The Creeper" I almost came in my pants.

The guy who said "paul is good...but can't replace freddie"...should know that Paul isn't

or wasn't trying to replace anyone. get some

ears dude. Two completely different styles.

& the fact that Paul eats sideways taco while

freddie prefered to munch on a pogo stick has

nothing to do with music. lol

  • @wolfatnight Paul rodgers added BALLS to Queens songs and he was tributing mercury. No one wants to admit it lol.

  • paul rogers is good, i will say that, but he cannot replace freddy. freddy may be gay but he Was the (in my opinion) the best gay singer ever

  • Best gay singer? He was/is the best singer ever full stop.

    R.I.P Freddie

  • dude Queen was never a gay band 1 was gay 3 was straight!!!!!

and freddie owns paul rodgers any day

  • rubbish!!!! they are damn lucky to have him and they know it----

  • yeah I reckon that's a syrup innit?

  • innit a syrup? come back when you learn to spell and have as much talent as rodgers

  • Blimey dickorous, you don't pull any punches, do you. I haven't made a spelling mistake since I was about 12. Or written 'lets' and 'thats' for 'let's' and 'that's' like you do. There's no greater admirer of Mr R's singing than me - but being one who's heading for syrup territory myself I reserve the right to syrup-spot. Then again I'm not sure you understood my comment in the first place.

  • toupet

  • I hate when people assume Paul is replacing Freddie. I think it is untrue as they are called PAUL RODGERS + QUEEN as opposed to just QUEEN. Are Queen just supposed to just stop making music because "nobody can replace Freddie"? Why not mix a bit of Paul Rodgers (Free/Bad Co.) and Queen? Maybe they want to make different tunes and tour. Let them be. Yes, they are not QUEEN, but at least they're having fun

  • yes lets join queen and use free and bad company songs,i wonder why? because queen songs sucked thats way

  • Have any of you critics been to a gig?

  • Paul Rodgers is the best singer ever. I agree he doesn't fit in with Queen's music but calm down kids. It will be ok. I promise.

  • i hate him!

Queen and freddie rule, he's an attention seeker

  • Bullshit, he is up there with Plant, and the gay boy.

  • hate? do you know him personally?

  • I agree he is the best, Queen is luck to have him, though I would really like to see Paul just go and do a reunion with Free instead

  • I don't think anyone could take the place of Freddie M in Queen but I used to love the way this man sang in the 1970s. He was my idol

  • i just SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO wished the other members of the doors had found you, instead of fronting a mock rock band such as queen, who in more than 30 years as a band have had one decent song, their first seven sea's of rhye, its not like you need the money is it paul

  • Not a rocker? Are you serious? You dont know anything about paul rodgers's career with free and after free...He is a musician and a singer and does both jobs brilliantly.

  • i was very anti paul as far as Queen goes...

    hes sortof growing on me.

  • i touched his hand...in corona

  • i rocked with him...in corona

  • What an amazing guy!!! Not only a rocker, but an all around good guy. What a hottie!

  • ...he looks like an elder Danny Bondaduce. Anyone with me? Regardless, he's still one of the greatest voices in rock

  • I THOUGHT THE SAME THING, TWINS LOL

  • But Danny is an evil twin!

  • good for him, staying healthy and still rockin' like he's in his 20's again!

  • This interview was done with Paul 2 minutes after he finished an unbelievable 2 hour show in the OC. He's an awesome rocker and down-to-Earth great guy.

  • he isn't a looser, you just haven't heard him sing thats why you are saying that

  • Oh look, another Freddie-only fan with his head stuck so far up his ass that he's actually threatened by Paul Rodgers. Calls him names on youtube.

    HAHA.

Take a look in the mirror if you want to see a real loser.

  • great way to put it knuteboy36. Paul Rodgers has one of the most amazing voices in rock n roll history. Anyone who says shit about him has NO idea what their talking about.

  • i am so glad that your with Brian & Roger! ROCK ON PAUL!!!!!!!

  • Looking in better health now than for a long time. Still got his Boro accent, too.

  • Bad Company was a half-way decent, when PR was with them. Personally I feel that Queen plays the Bad Company material w/ Rodgers than Bad Co. ever did it. Paul needs to keep going with Queen, they are on to something fresh and new here. Besides, I don't think Paul would want to go back down memory lane and tour on old material.

  • I LOVE Paul Rodgers; he is THE voice of rock-n-roll. But Paul, please rethink that rug. . .surely you can get someone to do a better job for you than this! Honey, spend the money! We luv ya!!

  • When are Bad Company going to tour?

    X

  • Paul - please put "Queen" down and get back with Bad Co where you belong

  • how i agree with you

  • Luv ya Paul, but.....keep your shirt on until yer tummy goes away.

  • yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy did u do the queen gig

    mone i guess

  • Paul Rodgers rocks! Haven't seen any recent interviews of him...great stuff.
