@skateskool100 Well, I was alerted to the fact that something was going on by a huge, very loud explosion nearby. I went up on the roof and could see the entire freeway being blocked by fire trucks about a half a mile away, and right over the building that separates us from the freeway rose a column of fire and smoke that was twice as tall as the building. In other words, I would have just been wasting valuable 911 time by calling it in. And in Oakland, 911 is a very necessary thing.
I just spoke with the driver of that tanker today....what a small world.
