  • "When we can define it, they'll do (the computers) a pretty good job at doing it"

That's the one and only reason AI research is stuck : those so called engineers think that in order to build intelligence, you must first disassemble it.

    This is so wrong.

  • the world and almost everything around us that we see and don't it's MATHEMATICAL INFORMATION...

No wonder that computers WILL become better than humans, but they will never have a soul...

No jokes around, but the moment that computers will be smarter then humans WILL BE THE END OF THE WORLD...

In the meantime, let's give our PC's as many oportunites to learn from us as we can...

    Good day!

    :-)

  • Why does his mountain and vally analogy remind me of the Noah's Ark fairy tale.

  • Soooooo, it's one zero one or rubarb rubarb rubarb zero zero one zero...rubarb...

  • This artificial intelligence, And these robots are so very pointless. You should have a robot to build a car, Yet you should not have a conscious intelligent robot to go to war.

  • stupid their only evolving faster because we are the ones making them, stop with that nonsence conspiracy theory and go in fact read a little more about the subject.

  • @nhopez well i think their point is that we can create machines which learn faster than humans..

  • this is evolution.

  • dna replication mechanizm in living cells can not be duplicated

  • No magical soul inside?

  • @cmpresent

Throw out your Commodore 64, and buy a new computer

  • Interesting, it wasnt that long ago that I read , that it is a profound foolishness to believe we do not evolve anymore. Humans are actually evolving even more and more. hmm. now what is right... in which perspective.

  • Computers haven't evolved one bit.

  • @cmpresents You are an ignorant if you think so!

  • The simulation of consciousness is not the same as consciousness.

  • interesting stuff thhanks for sharing ;)

  • No see you need the brain to make the robot.

  • Skynet!!!

  • What does your robot do? It collects information about it's surrounding environment, then it discards it and bumps into walls - hehe.

  • computers can answer problems, but can they formulate questions?

  • yeah i still dont really see how something that we program could ever have the ability to make more original thought than a human being. and a C.N.S. is something that every living organism on the planet has.(not counting most forms of vegetation)

  • but ai inteligence isnt evolvingwhere the ones making it better so its aint evolutiong ffs

  • @senoja1986 that's how it's evolving, doofus.

  • @NakedCreep BUT its still not evolution when ai starts advanceing itself then its evolution u wouldnt call making a piece of steel into a sword evolution would u dumbass its exactly the same thing try learning a little logic and common sense before ripping at people F@#Ktard

  • @senoja1986 No matter the agent that's affecting the evolution, it's still evolution of technology. I hope you're not thinking that evolution is like Pokemon, because Pokemon got it extremely wrong.

Technology is evolving, our machines are inspired by older machines, and we build upon older machines and reduce size and mechanisms. We are the catalyst for the evolution of machines. Learn the definition of evolution.

    And fucktard isn't censored, fucktard.

  • @NakedCreep Pokemon?? how fukkin old r u dude lmao still not EVOLUTION though its technological advancement when computers and shit start makin themselves better them itll b evolution and pokemon is a fukking game for children it doesnt need to b right lmao doubt kids will playit if they had to wait years for there pokemon to evolve

  • @senoja1986 You're a moron. You didn't read my comment, and you don't know what the denotative meaning of evolution is.

How do I know you didn't read my comment? You went rattling on about Pokemon when I told you to think evolution is NOT Pokemon.

Definition of Evolution: any process of formation or growth; development.

Nowhere in the definition does it say self. Biological evolution is supported by the surroundings. Technological evolution is supported by humans.

  • @NakedCreep i was takin piss out the fact of u mentioning pokemon atall read a few article on exactly what technological evolution iis until then stop spouting bollox til u develop a little common sense shut the fuk up

  • @senoja1986 Man, talking to you is like trying to convince a creationist that evolution has nothing to with astronomy.

You didn't even understand why I used, 'pokemon', you just started yammering.

Technological evolution is when technology grows and builds upon existing technology. The monitor you see right now is the great great grandchild of the television, and the plasma screen is it's cousin.

  • @NakedCreep i know exactly why u used pokemon as an example how ever i stand by my original statement its not evolution its invention and advancement the term technological evolution is not just slight improvements on the same item or idea evolution is the process of a species adapting and changing to become better suited to its surrounding and enabeling it to continure existsing because of that we evolved on our own we are simply creating new and better tools as we ourselves continue to evolve

  • @NakedCreep and that is all computers currently are TOOLs it can be argued that we are potenialy allowing a "species" of machine to "skip" the first couple million years of evolution but that is not evolution and as computers are not living things then its argueable that until we create a computer that is infact sentient then it cannot begin to evolve tho we are skipping the very early stages of there evolution THEY are not evolving

  • @NakedCreep and i know the next argument is going to be that not everything that evolves is sentient however ALL things that evolve ARE alive tho due to OUR own advancesments in technology (wich could b seen as our evolution in technology NOT TECHNOLOGY EVOLVING if u dont know the diference then further argument is pointless) its possible that not all things that are SENTIENT will be ALIVE so as an exception to the rule a SENTIENT machine is capable of evolution

  • @senoja1986 The process of species adapting and changing to become better suited to its surrounding is microevolution, it's a biological term. The term 'evolution' was created before Darwin's theory of evolution. People often confuse the two meanings.

Definition of Evolution: any process of formation or growth; development.

  • @NakedCreep That is All !!!!

  • One day computers will have this same discussion about their creations.

  • Oh please the human brain is the ultimate computer we're the ones that made the AI and we can break them! to!.

  • I want to have that computer software! I would watch it for HOURS!

  • @Fidellio13

Changing little parts of the environment and everything

    ...me too

  • @Fidellio13 - And the computer would lack back at you and think, what the fuck do you want. ;-)

  • @Fidellio13 Google a Software called "3D Virtual Creature Evolution" - has basically the same features - works in the exact same way.

  • We are the collective. Your unique biological distinctiveness will be added to our own.

  • @l337pwnage We are the Borg. You will be assimilated.

  • I don't think we'll make robots super smart, but enhance ourselves with brain upgrades and body upgrades etc.

  • or 'enhance our own code' so to speak.

  • I was thinking more maybe integrating computers into our brains. Rather then altering our dna or genes it's easier.

  • I'd argue that's not true. The initial work in figuring it out would be hard, but it would save a lot of effort in material, manufacturing, and installation.

  • @Mrxb0x and you would want that because?

  • lern2english, then re ask that question. :)

  • @Mrxb0x

I probably speak english better than you.

  • You mean "speak better English"?, DUMBASS?

  • Both is correct. and you are a moron

  • oh, sorry, both are correct..

  • YOU BETTER BE SORRY! BITCH.

  • Learn to not be an asstard or GTFO the internett. Alternately learn whichever language dinko normally speak.

  • @Nixxen

    Emm

    EH

    Kay

    Eeh

    Me.

  • I suppose in the future we'll be gods. But if you look at most mythologies, the gods were extrememly fucked up, and for the most part they went extinct.

  • gods went extinct lol wtf are you talking about

  • the old computer video is so cute! HA!

  • 100001111100000111111111100000011111-2

  • 11100010110?

  • we are all victims to what we create. teh worker will eventually be replaced

  • I think those last few sentences are the scariest part of this whole video..

  • I don't think it is any coincidence that technology is advancing at a rate never seen before.

I would say if there should be any warning of it being dangerous for mankind it should be in the sense of how disposable computer technology is and yet so complex to the point where the line could begin to blur between realizing that we may just infact be as disposable to our creator and this will break your heart into pieces.

The dinosaurs are gone and so shall humans be one day.

  • oh shut up

  • are "code" is not immutable. It changes throughout life by way of adaptations.
