  • we all are gonna some day. sad but true.

  • Toki (Time in Japanese) the name of the movie. . .meaning here the movement of time through a designated space

  • Lag

  • .........=/

    little bit scare here

  • AHHH THE KEY ALWAYS STOPS TURNING GUISE!!!

  • The Pointless Perpetuation of Mans Never Ending March Into Oblivion. Each Man Walks Forward With another to Take His Place Ahead of Him, And the One Whose Place he took Behind Him. Each of Which Fade into Nothingness when is Purpose is served. That is Me, That Is You.

  • Well, we do the same thing, people. Have children, die, your children have children and die, their children have children and die. Grim but clever

  • @Aleahcim

I thought the same, sad thing...

  • @Aleahcim That's actually pretty profound. We're all just clockworks.

  • Someone wind me up as this video has me so stiff it feels like constipation of the ball-sac region!!!

  • htis r not puppet! this r stop motion animation

  • kowaine... ToT

  • Even though I totally get the concept of this video...I'm still pretty creeped out about the doll thingy's. They just creep me out.

  • I teared up.This video makes perfect sense....

  • wow i thought it was creepy at first and then i worked out what it was about and then i thought it was really clever :D

  • this made me feel sadness. ;[ i want one of them so they wouldn't have to die. Very ice concept of this stop motion.

  • I actually find the low frame rate to be nice

  • ski[y but good work lol

  • this video kinda make me depress......

  • I like the part in black and white...

  • It's about the instinctual need to procreate and how eventually everything has only so much time until it becomes something else.

  • Beautiful, but I'm gonna have some weird nightmares tonight

  • Would be great if they increased the frame rate

  • i beg you for higher framerate

  • Cool B)

  • the moral is: convert to batteries!

  • neat

  • eee its creepy

  • wooow!!! 31 fans of lady gaga and justin bieber should get a life!! this video is awesome!! deserves more thuns up!! :)) i love the way you did this~! is great!

  • I had to think of "No One There" by Sentenced the hole time watching this video...

  • i'm touched... we are just clock work dolls, we need each other even in the end...

  • No one dies who follow the light. Everyone knows that. You just die in this world. This world is just the beginning. It's connected to somthing much bigger.

  • It's not true...We really never die.

  • like it a lot.!

  • very nice!

  • This video invoked a lot of emotions in me. The music replay is the key.

We are but wind up dolls given just enough life to give life. The cycle continues until the end of time.

I think the fact that it felt like the puppets had a soul for such a short period of time and their bodies just dissolved to sand is what scared me most. The thing is, if one deviates and doesn't spend it's journey giving life, there would be no life for the future. Yet ultimately, everything ends in time.

  • I see two possible themes

1)Dont waste your time helping other people :P

2)Helping others is the goal of life.

  • that look like alian...

  • this disturbed me...everything is so dull like there is no meaning to life.......

  • creepy :)

  • just watch the damn thing you don't need to explain it

  • To me this says We can bring life into this world but cannot prolong our own.

  • That has made me think that we cant live without eachover great video an beautiful music

  • very cultural. the moral is: even if you help other people everyone will still fart all die: fart is inevitable and nothing we do on butts can fucking change it with barf.

  • @NotGoinDown are you fucking 5?

  • @NotGoinDown ur gay

  • This is fantastic! excellent job

  • um.. i dont get it ._. can someone explain me DX?

  • The meaning is: A human lives to help the other's living. Even when it costs his own life til the end. And the sandclock at the end: it shows how does our life flow around us and doesn't wait for our moves. LIVE ON LIKE EVERYDAYS YOUR LAST!

  • WHOA JAPAN GOES DEEP INTO THE HEART

  • I love that kind of dark adn wasted land or world.Yeah full of meaning.

  • Omg that has so much meaning! So sad.

  • Quite a clever concept behind this. It reminds me of an animation made by someone at my uni. It was about two clockwork men stuck in a room writing. Each existed to wind the other up to keep going.

  • toki means time in japanese

  • T___T that is too sad....and very true....yet so beautifully done.

  • wow

  • This is one of the best ones i've ever seen, its so amazing, and has so much meaning! Omg, just thinking about it brings chills to my spine, how their whole life is spent whinding up the other doll, then they disappear and turn into sand for the hourglass, 5* and a fav for this.

  • that is so sad

  • Huh... i kinda figured that they were supposed to be perpetual energy that's only master is time...

  • there cute but the video shit

  • love music but i cant understand the video:S

  • the music is so cool :O

  • nice know onw have nether came up with puppet clay mashon

  • their only purpose in life is to make the chain of dolls continue..... soooooo sad!!!! i feel sorry for the little guys!

  • Isn't that our purpose as well?

  • depends on how you look at it

  • ToT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the moral is: even if you help other people everyone will still all die: fate is inevitable and nothing we do can change it.

  • you can always turn the crank on their back :P

  • @Non3ntity it is not

  • its so cute and scary!

    I wuv it=]

  • fa molto tool

  • ...without assistance is even more unbearable...Fantastico!

  • Lush!!!

  • carino ^^

  • It makes sense we live life in a circle and then sadly die....

  • Beautiful work!

It seems to reflect how a lot of people have conceptualized life - we're born (started) ultimately to become family people (get somebody else started), and by the time we're done doing that our own lives are over. Thank God - sincerely - that life can really be so much more.

  • Amazing. It's perfect. I want to live in this world.

  • Oh, scary, beautiful

  • Oh gosh..... we're nothing without each other.....

  • Nice job 8)

watch my claymations if you'd like.

  • Whoa now

    o-o

  • I had a feeling there would be some kind of death theme, since it's Japanese and all

  • puppet susanimation!!!

  • Intense! Very well done. A message of life and tragedy, brave stuff.

  • cool

    freaky

    awsome....

  • Great stuff, I really like the music as well! We have a stop motion music video you might be interested in called Plastic Robots, I hope you enjoy!

  • What a beautiful explanation of much we need one another to function and how short a time we have. Wonderful, thanks for sharing.

  • It seems to be a meditation on life and aptly, enough the beginning and end of this film is the most interesting part.

  • brilliant

the only thing i would improve is the frame rate

  • That was very poetic and very non-verbally descriptive. Amazingly creative.

  • Wow! Reminded me of that soap opera, "like sands in an hour glass, so are the Days of Our Lives". Must go now, have to hurry & live.

  • This potentially has just given me a new outlook on life. That we are all just made to bring new life to others--that our time here is so fleeting that it should be spent doing only the most beneficial thing, which is helping other life forms.

  • As true as that is, your name is pure pig

  • Pig can talk?!? :D

  • beautiful.

  • i think its a perfect example of birth, life and death and it just goes on

  • i dont know what it is about this... but i just love it. im not sure why.

  • omg!!!!they're so cuuute!!!!um...idk what it means, BUT THE PUPPETS ARE SOOOOOOOOOOOO CUTE!!!

  • ^o^ I think its cute,

  • amazing I loved it

  • it freaked me out

  • Some dude said he loved the 'message' of this video. Being reminded of death and the cycle of life doesn't exactly thrill me. Awesome way to communicate it though.

  • Perfect! a summary of human destination I think.

  • THe cycle of suffering goes on.. BUT memories of you stay strong..

  • wow.

  • love it

  • WEIRD

  • i dont get it?

  • I love the message through this video ,very good

    ^^

  • life is something the elder give.....only to die themself later

and thats how they keep life on earth!

    SO TRUE :)

  • so true...:|

  • Tis a Pity Ain't it

  • i'm crossing my fingers there's more to life than that

  • agree

  • Freaky yet beautiful message

  • EXELENTE

  • wow.

    sinboat. com

  • Wonderful!

    wonderful video.

  • just like our lives

  • Wow, what can i say, i loved it

  • What the heck? It's creepy! And I'm surprised (and frightened) to hear this wasn't original intent!

  • This is really beautiful one.

  • beautiful work......but i somehow still think...even though their not real...its still kinda like their moving around lifelessly , n unwillingly,so i feel sorta sorry 4 em

  • awesome!!! thank you for than beatifull video! favorite!

  • cool!!! ^^

  • Wonderful video.

  • This is great. It really portrays life. The roughness of the video added to it. A+.

  • No offence to most people who commented, but any more frames per second and the piece would have looked too realistic. Part of the animation is that they themselves are puppets and they move very jolted and uncomfortably. I thought it was great.

  • i agree

  • the animation wasn't even THAT bad...

I've seen (and done) alot worse

  • that is so sad! even though the animation kinda sucks, you get used to it

  • very nice,really good idea

  • sad that there is such good puppet contruction but horrible animation by the way I had the same idea once looks like you beat me :(

  • Fan. Yes, as in fan.freakin.tastic

! ok. sensational get it. Fan. dont change a thing. The timing is perfect.

  • Nice animation. But you should really try to do more than just 4-5 frames per second to make it much smoother. Yes it requires more work, but hey, what the hell.

  • I dont want to say now your wrong about the frame but the propably made it like that on purpose?

  • good, but not smooth enough
