  • Hey i think whatever your goal weight is you should try to go 5 to 10lbs less than that. Im on my 3rd round and exercise 4 to 5 days a week and still gain like 10 pounds about a month after stablizing on each round i did.

  • @bigace321 - I've noticed that too. Tight now I'm hoping to hit 185 by the end of this round. Then I'm taking a LONG break until October (unless I really fall off the wagon) and then I might do a short round. When I was 186 in the USAF (the lightest I've ever weighed as an adult) I still felt like I could lose about 10 pounds, so it's "possible" I could actually get below 185 - that's totally a new level of weight for me. Don't know what my body will accept, but we'll see.

  • @GyroplaneFan I was 185lbs when i was in the army and then i got serious about working out and was a cut up 5' 10" 160lbs. So my goal is around 170 so i can keep it in check and far away from 200lbs.

  • It's so good to see your vlogs again. :) I understand the damned chocolate thing. It's incredibly evil and got to me on this P3 as well. I'm 5 over LDW right now and have 3 weeks until P2 so...we'll just say no more chocolate for me.

I'm hoping this will be my last round as it's now my last 20 pounds too. I bought a Pampered Chef rice cooker plus to cook my food most days. That way I can keep things oil free and on strict protocol. Better P3 for me next time as well. I need to do it.

  • @saintprovogirl - We got the NuWave Oven for Xmas, and it's GREAT for cooking! What it does to Broccoli - MAN! Right now I'm a tiny bit over 6 lbs from my stabilized weight, so I don't have too much to lose before I'm in the positive again. I know these final pounds are going to be tough - Might even do 1 more round towards the end of the year, but after this one, I'm going to take at least 4 months to keep stable. AND, be very wary of Chocolate.

  • @GyroplaneFan Those 5-6 pound gains are tough to lose. I just need to eat clean and stay away from both carbs/sugars more. Moderation is key and I need to remind myself of that daily.

  • Great to see u. I'm going to get back on R4P2 next month. I've been reading the "BECK Diet Solution" which isn't a "diet" but how to learn to THINK like a thin person. She's a therapist who teaches Cognitive Therapy, so u learn the way to keep it off. Book is well worth reading.

  • Thanks for giving up the REAL scoop...I am very interested in your results... my husband has done VERY well on his R1 and kept it up thru P3 and beyond... we start R2P2 soon and I watch you as an example for him-- men having different experiences / perspectives .... way to set a GREAT example!!

  • @TheBubbagumpy - I'm glad my VLog has been helpful. I believe in telling it like it is. This Protocol (In My Opinion) is THE best way to lose weight and help keep it off. It certainly isn't easy at times, and reverting to one's old habits can cause issues, which even I am guilty of at times, but I've NEVER been so close to my goal weight as I have with HCG. Keep me updated on your progress!

  • hi. good 2 see ya again. today was R2VLCD2 for me. i reached goal last round, but goofed up P3 by over-exercising, making myself extemely hungry all the time. gained back 10 to the weight my body was comfortable w/yrs ago also. now I'm back trying 2 do it right this time. good to know I'm doin it with one if the vets :) take care!

  • @last20pounds - Well, you're in good company :) I too gained 10 pounds - but not from over-exercising (unless you count my jaw opening and closing too many times on my nemesis Chocolate!!!) Actually the Chocolate was only a portion of it. The closer I'm getting to my ideal weight, the more my body seems to resist shedding - it happens. Still, I'm back on track for this round and plan on doing better next P3. Keep me posted on your progress!

  • Best of luck and welcome back=)

  • Oh those sweets.... they are tempting aren't they? I don't crave carbs either... ever. But on a stressful day, chocolate sounds like the holy grail. No worries, Terry... you got it under control and will lose this gained weight very quickly. The key to this program is getting back up when we fall down... so true! I bet you will get down to 189 this round... how awesome is that? I have to be really strict on P3 too. Anyway, good luck! Can't wait to cross the finish line with ya! Hugs.

  • @jennymathis1 - Thanks Jenny. I'm "over" my desire for Chocolate - for now :) Funny, when I started the shots and loading 2 days ago, I just mentally turned off the urge for chocolate. It'll be keeping that switch off when P3 starts that will be a little more difficult. But, I'm focused on staying faithful to P3 when I get there and not even try any sweets for 6-8 weeks after. Looking forward to BOTH of us reaching our ultimate goal!

  • Love your videos...you are a HCG hero!!!!

  • @BeautifulHeart76 - Thanks :) Just trying to do my part by sharing my experiences. I slipped a bit, but want people to hear that so they realize that it's OK as long as you don't let it get to you. I'm not, and looking forward to getting under 200 for the 1st time in 18 years!

  • So good seeing you... Hope to vlog soon... check your INBOX.

  • Good luck Terry, I will be watching you.

  • Look at this...all of you veterans on at the same time as us newbies. How exciting!!! Good luck! You look amazing and have done such a wonderful job!!!

  • @HCGChef - Thank you! You look like you've started off on good footing as well. I'll be watching your videos to see how you succeed over the next few weeks!
