  • open your mouth wide...

  • do you want to collaborate with me?

  • What time sig is this in?!?!?!

  • @Hawkish3131 4/4 seems to me, the echoe-y guitars just makes seem like its not.

  • @soundsower1 Yeah, I agree. In the studio version, it's so hard to tell. It's more swing-ish. Or maybe it's in 6/4? I'm not sure. It sounds like it could be 6/4.

  • @Hawkish3131 100% sure it's 4/4. I tell you what though, the drum line that Johnny plays here is inserted in the weirdest place, and if you going by that alone (it's a lot more prominent on the album) then I don't know what you'd say it was. Also, it's interesting that each line in the verses last 8 bars, but since some of the bars Thom sings a sustained part and some he doesn't, they sound like they're uneven length thought they're all the same.

  • @Hawkish3131 who gives a fuck?

    it's fucking radiohead.

  • @Hawkish3131 its in 4/4. Have a look at 3:48 - 3:54.

  • This is Radiohead at their best best! What would the next album sound like?

it may causes a lot of brain strokes I believe!

  • Wow, finally listened long enough to reach the real good bit of the song... Man should've don it earlier

  • life is getting worst without radiohead

  • Proper musicians all in the zone

  • do you want collaborate with me?

  • do you want collaborate with me?

  • Real physics, xx

  • Poesía universal

  • Brilliant

  • This amazes me every time i view it & watch this every day.

  • @YoMamaBeenLurkin

    hahah, me too !

  • Soul stirring

  • 4:44

  • It's amazing how Radiohead sounds better and better as you listen more and more, theres jus't so much new emotions and sounds to discover in every song ;)

  • this song is in x/y timing

  • ok. radiohead is the best I know. maybe also round here on the planet. in my eyes they just can´t do wrong cause they simply are who they are and still keep on evolving. maybe there will someday be the point they stop with that. than we have some great records and there will be new bright and inspiring bands and so it goes on and on.

  • i love the radioheads, ive got all there tapes.

  • love this song. it's radiohead meets township jive

  • oh man they really need to get a new studio enginieer / producer. This alvbum and In Rainbows lost ALL intensity and the human element from them in the studio. I really wasnt impressed with ther album but i love this to bits

  • @HeliconPath In Rainbows was an album about being human, and it absolutely feels it. Bodysnatchers was ferocious and Nude was beautiful, Arpeggi is a love song, all the arpeggios blending into a textural heaven not unlike the one in the background here, All I Need (it's alright, it's all wrong, it's alriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight, say no more). They tear through a sharp and sweet Jigsaw and emerge into the personal suicide note of Videotape.

    Lost the human element? Nope.

  • @OhTheOtherDude Go listen to the live recordings of in rainbows and you will see what i mean. they areer than thier studio counterparts

  • Not many bands come close to this lot...now or ever! When those horns kick in...superb!

  • this song has ruined other music for me

  • I sense Frippertronics....

  • @inbredjed07 holy shit i only realised that when i read your comment. evening star.

  • this is like LSD right into your ears, so awwwwwesome..

  • open yo pussy wide. I put my dick inside.

  • @konosaphat8 wow, so much kids here!

  • Comment removed

  • @LucielZ1 Yes, your grammar is profane.

  • @konosaphat8 haha, yeah, I made a big one, I'm spanish,,, but seriously,, behave!

  • it would be more cool if instead portishead drummer would be jhony

  • Can't wait to see them play this live in San Jose, and Santa Barbara, and Coachella!!!!

  • Open you're mouth wide....a universal sigh

  • whoa

  • I need that dvd!

  • This version is fucking intense.

  • 12 que son sordos... una pena.

  • Comment removed

  • 3 percussionists? Wow, usually I would see that as stupid, but... They play so well and all in perfect harmony

  • This studio performance is so much better than the album version! It's so real!

  • Comment removed

  • Seriously one of the best things I've seen in my entire life.

  • Looking old, but definitely not sounding old...

  • @WhiteSleevedStu except jonny, who look like he just reached his late twenties finally.

  • This makes other rock bands sound like musical retards!

  • @gefriolsaeme This comment makes you sound like a retard.

  • @filipeguitarrista83 I have the papers that prove I'm not!

  • @gefriolsaeme Hm, i bet they're false! :P

  • @filipeguitarrista83 No they're not I printed them myself...

  • @gefriolsaeme Oh, there it is, now it's explained, lol :P

  • such an awesome performance, gives me chills every time.

  • I liked King of Limbs a lot, but not quite as much as some of their other albums. Listening to this version of Bloom though, and watching them play. Absolutely mesmerising...

  • Another thing... this video reminds me that, more than anything, Radiohead's music is about RHYTHM. Everything post-OK Computer has had one defining driving force and that is rhythm, and specifically drums. The fact that this song requires THREE drummers just makes that all the more evident.

  • This has to have the most complex rhythm and aesthetic of any rock song I've ever heard. Reminds me more than anything of the minimalist classical music of Philip Glass or Steve Reich from the mid 1960s, married to the acid Jazz of Miles Davis. Wildly creative. Now I just have to figure out if I actually like it...

  • It's what keeps me alive....

  • TKOL songs translate so much better live.

Can't wait for April 9th, btw

  • it almost seems criminal to have jonny on drums

  • @CarEdy23 It's a Jazzmaster...

  • daria todo por tocar lo radiohead

  • I was in delirium while listening to this ....

  • I always hated this song and thought it was an unlistenable mess. Then I saw this and something musically just clicked and I love it now.

  • You know a band is good when they sound best live!!!

  • i fucking love thom's fender jaguar

  • @CarEdy23 It's a jazzmaster

  • I'm so looking forward to seeing them live in Berline in July!!! YES! I need some opinions, my 10 y.o. daughter really wants to come, should I bring her? I have 2 tickets and both concerts here are sold out! EXCITING!

  • @kudrunma radiohead knows no age, radiohead is heaven sent for all of mankind. Watching them live will change your and your family's life forever, i saw them twice already...

  • 3:30 = pure bliss

  • This is one of those songs that you've listened to on a stereo a dozen times and thought it was fantastic. But then you see how it comes together in a physical space and it becomes just...breathtaking. That really is the word for me. Thom's vocals, the percussion, the brass...I stopped breathing. I'm witnessing genius.

  • Youtube I have issue.

    There is a dislike button.

    Please fix it.

  • i fuckin love this album

  • The whole song is great but at 2:58 the orgasm starts. Holy shit the whole brass band and radiohead=Epic.

  • I love radiohead!!!the best!

  • I prefer live version. This version

  • God, why couldn't you have given me those skills?!

  • The independent basement of the deep sound...

  • Uhm why isnt there more people viewing this. Plus idk how my girlfriend doesn't like this

  • @Bonerstatus45 You need a new girlfriend. ;)

  • I cannot believe this song.

  • When Radiohead needs another drummer they apparently just clone Phil

  • clive: "but what are we gonna put jonny on?"

thom: "throw him on some drums, why not? he plays every other fucking thing, no one will think it's weird."

i love how this band doesn't limit themselves to anything.

  • @robmadore1 Jonny plays even on a lemon! Search for "Reckoner Scotch Mist" and you will know what I mean :)

  • Can you feel it? because I can

  • no, I like the original one more

  • mi thom es lo maximo =)

  • I personally prefer this version. Why? Thom was OBVIOUS feeling it when they performed this, the intro sounds remixed, and overall the crisp sounds of instruments and guitars and bass is overwhelming strong. The outro verse is near the strongest thing I've heard in a long time from Radiohead.

  • thom yorke's lyrical style is incredible!

  • The main drummer's neck must be sore alot, he never looks up.

  • Soo why does this not have more views? Don't blow your mind with why.

  • Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucccckk :OOOOOOOOOO

  • i wish they couldve done the echo that comes before the lyrics in the second part. either way.. this is amazing

  • Awesome, who is the other drummer?

  • @Tubulardude007 It looks like Jonny Greenwood.

  • @Tubulardude007 It's Clive Deamer he is also the drummer of Portishead.

  • @Tubulardude007 3 people playing drums on this song.. ;-;

  • @Tubulardude007 two balds are phil selway and clive deamer the one with hairs is Jonny Greenwood

  • @Tubulardude007 the one with the drumpads, Clive Deamer ( Portishead) the one in the toms, the Legendary Jonny Greenwood ( And Phil of Course)

  • Thank you for dropping all of worm woods so far.

  • 10 people dont deserve ears!!!!

  • orale ¡¡¡ un nuevo sonido eso es lo que me gusta de radiohead cada disco representa una parte de la esencia de radiohead

  • There are no words to describe how amazing This group is, Just movement..

  • @Idioteque434 swag

  • totally better than the studio version

  • WOW !

  • the machine drummer is portishead's drummer, isn't it?

  • @ruhlelana yes,that's Clive

  • @ruhlelana Yes it is

  • @ruhlelana It's Radiohead's Drummer : Phil Selway ...

  • @Northshore45 See 2:10. There are 3 drummers: Jonny Greenwood on the left, Clive Deamer in the center, and Phil Selway on the right. I can see how you can get them confused, as Phil and Clive are both bald.

  • @DesertOcotillo Yeah i noticed after writing the comment... Sorry.... :P Theres so much comments, i couldn't find back mine.... LOL

  • so that's what eargasm means

  • Oh man, playing this live - hearing it alone is zen.

  • as much i love this song i personally dont really like the fact they are using real metalwind instruments... i would of prefer jonny had programmed those using Max or maybe just a mellotron

  • i love this song so much more now that i heard it in live and heard it again in album.

  • I love how complex this song is. Every time I listen to it I hear new sounds in it.

  • there is alot goin on in this song

  • blitz

  • Bliss.

  • cool

  • I can't believe Radiohead cloned there drummer Phil in a secret lab on a private island just for this album!

  • i would imagine jonnys drum beat would get tiring

  • Outstanding!

  • This is one of the greatest songs I've ever heard.

  • Greatest band in the world.

  • 2:58 gods voice :3

  • @TheWabbit131 Exacto! :D

  • lo mejor

  • This proves that their music are better live

  • Radiohead equal God

  • @FatherFakkers Radiohead > God :)

  • que chafa no no eso que

  • The whole session is a masterpiece, follow the drums on 4:43 until you will get out of orbit

  • @Holztrommell y que

  • 0:58 thom's trying so hard not to bust a nut.

  • SOTY right here bitches

  • Wow I don't think it was possible to play this song live :O

  • love...

  • so they did all those sounds with guitars, theres nothing radiohead cant do

  • I'm naming all my children Thom.

  • Thom rocking out at the end is freaking great. The whole band at the end rocking out is great. This recording is such a great moment for them as a band.

  • I have decided, I will have a basement in my HOUSE!! PERIOD :D

  • The basement is where it goes down.

  • THAT BASEMENT IS A HOLY PLACE

  • @4222815 some say it's a stargate

  • This is SOOOO much better than the album version!! loving seeing johnny on the drums too... awesome stuff!!!

  • Anyone else notice the enochian alphabet used on the picture their site?

  • amazing

  • Thom look's like he is Robert Carlyle's stunt double from universe

  • I saw Clive Deamer drumming with Portishead a couple weeks ago. What you hear aint true, the guy's a cyborg...

  • Bassline is simply amazing.

  • it's what keeps me alive...

  • After OK Computer, i could never really understand the lyrics without looking them up.

  • genius intro

  • "Anyone Can Play Guitar"- Tom York

  • Scotch Mist is better.

  • the giant turtle

  • man, this is so good. better than the album version definitely.

  • I truly respect everybody who listen to radiohead. We have a different mindset.it's nice to know, that i'm not the only genius in this world.(i kid,I kid A) lol.

  • Jonny looks excited.

  • That basement is the best thing that happened to those guys. Thom is having a little too much fun, but its still the top notch stuff.

  • kick ass song! heard it on colbert report and was blown away!

  • @MegaHillview Yeah I got that episode.

If you'll notice, once the song ended and Stephen Colbert came out onto the stage he said "wow" like five times during his segue to commercial. Can't blame him. It was the only word that came to my mind as well.

  • I need to get my daily 'fix' of radiohead before facing this fucked up world.

  • @MegaHillview Hahahaha....Me Too!
