Its not buggy it just doesnt count it over deep water, just shallow water. And theres a much easier way to do it. Just get the army jet and go on the highway and dont hold gas.

You know that when you get so close that there is wind circling around your vehical on the ground it counts as Low Flyer... So you could've used that to help you... I have a record of 55 seconds Low Flying.

I got this achievement on my second try over land alone.

My advice is go to the island from the demo and find the PEEK-Airhawk, this plane's lower airspeed and relatiely high manouverability make it much easier to avoid any obstacles that happen to sit within your chosen flightpath and will also help to make any subtle altitude changes more visable.

Sthis Achievement was annoying/fun as hell.. Trying to get those really fast planes off the ground could sent you through some incredible stages where you think you're going to crash, but then don't. I still don't have it, though. Haven't played the game in about 3 months, but still don't have it.

it won't count it over deep water, because the ground is technically several meters below the water surface. It counts over shallow water because the ground is only a few feet below water level.

the reason you had a problom flying over the water is because it will measure your hight from the ground under the water so if you go in to deep water the you will be out of range from the ground

The best way to get this is to use the Silverbolt and fly it over a wide road, like one of the divided highways near the faction HQs.

What deuxtroyer said. The stunt flyer only applies to being close to the ground, water doesn't count. Geoff got it because he was flying over shallow water. so it's not buggy if you're attempting over the ocean.

Use the PeerHawk or whatever it is called(slowest plane)

then find a sea place with really hallow water so you can see the ground through it .The reason it won´t count on water is because you need to be on GROUND which is below water ...
