  • @hamid28683 lol first time i ever heard someone call the marines social rejects...i may not have played football in highschool, but i got all the women haha, im joining cause the marines are 1 step better than "normal" i dont want to be some loser whos greatest dream is a raise. i want to meet challenges, see the world, and make my mark in this world, instead of fading into page i will be part of whats written in the history books

  • goin to be the first marine in my family, that is if i can ever get passed the recruiting level >.> ive been trying to join the marines for about 8 months now

  • @USMCrecruitOORAH youll make it. have confidence. do they plan to ship you out to MEPS anytime soon?

  • @74miller lol for the past 3 months, some bs always pops up....fact is, to even get to the MEPs level i gave in and said ill take a spot as a reservist

  • @hamid28683

    Cool story bro

  • @hamid28683

Your ignorance speaks so loudly I can’t hear what you’re saying.

Fact each of the Fortune 500 companies has a former Marine as CEO or President.

No former Marine has been involved in a financial malfeasance, As Group Veterans start the most small businesses.

Here some advise for you; Get out of your Parents basement, get a job and then get an education. Report back when you’ve accomplished these tasks, until then keep you insignificant thoughts to yourself.

  • @hamid28683 ya mad bruh? you are just a fat body civie who could at least show a little more respect, look ya'll we got a keyboard warrior i want you to say this to a servicemember's face fuckin pussy.

  • @hamid28683 btw just so you know, female marines got more balls then you do you fat sack of crap, do the world a favor and go fuck yourself so hard, that you just stop talking and moving forever.

  • @hamid28683 here is the thing i may have been a little to harsh, do you know why service members are big and strong, because they know they are making a difference fat body, you on the other hand are just another social reject who probably has no life. From now on everyone when you refer to hamid28683 he shall be known as gumber pile, do you like that name Gumber Pile?

  • I wanted the edge, I seen the edge and passed it. I stopped after four years for a woman, got out, found out she had been with at least five of my friends and divorced the bich. I should of stayed in. I miss the times but I don't miss being that close to death. Glad I had the training I use it every day in life. Thank you Marine Corps. Mind over matter was my favorite. If you can believe it you can do it. Nothing is too great or unobtainable.

  • 9 more day until Boot camp!

  • I didnt mean it is sexy as in male marines will hit on you or take advantage.. jeez my last comment sounded bad, I just meant I always found them attractive, hell I had a MCMAP instructor female I was scared of at one time. Hope you didnt take it the wrong way.

  • @Burnz2much BAHAHAHHaha no! lol and thanks for the info.

  • If you had digi's in boot you are nub! I forgot to say that. Carry on devils. :)

  • MCRDPI PLT1048 beats you all! LOL! I miss that shit SOOO much!

  • Are females allowed in the marines and if so are they discriminated on or do they do exactly what the guys do? Also what kind of jobs are they allowed to do as a marine?

  • @teenfitness4U Yes, very much so they are allowed in the Corp. They can do any job except the 03 and 08 MOS's. As of when I left in '05. It is hard though, but it is very sexy, to most. :)

  • God bless our troops. They are awesome. Respect.

  • According to my recruiter it's mostly psychological being more than physical but becoming a marine will balance both. Marine is not something you can just call yourself it is a title you earn!

  • Go Marines! :D

  • signed my paperwork near the end of my junior year of high school. this was 1989. seniors last day was may 25th, i shipped to the beloved paris island may 28th. i did not go to my high school graduation because i never worked for school, that was easy. asked my mom to attend my marine corps graduation instead. semper fi, my dad marine 3 tours nam, my great uncles inchon reservoir, my grandfather lc driver japan WWII, my great grandpa belleau woods. need i say more. SEMPER FI

  • @ice750 Nothing like a little added pressure on you. Just the legacy of the Corps is a high expectation only a few meet or exceed. Add to that a Family Legacy, sounds like it help build your character Marine.

    Keep Attacking!!

    Semper Fi!!

  • @TellTheMarines I'm both nervous and excited about becoming a marine. I am currently going under the recruitment process but when the day comes I can call myself a marine is the day I am proud of myself. That is the title you strive for and few get it. The few, the proud, the Marines.

  • Im thirteen and Im pretty heavy, but its always been my dream to be a marine. I am planning on getting tougher for my older years. Right now my max is 85 and im planning on raising that. I dont have a great run speed or stamina level and I going to change that. My school has a boot camp preformance course and Im now old enough to go to my dads mens club who have a weight room and track. Over the next few years, Im going to work at becoming one of the few, the proud, the marines.

  • Holy god, I need to learn how to tie a tie!

  • @LastXdeth me too man, or i'm fucked sideways

  • 10 taliban fighters craped there pants when they saw this video

  • @Seijitsu0 I would have loved to be a Marine. I so regret alot of the choices I made early on in life. But I have tremendous respect for you guys and all you do for our country.

  • Good ol parris island that brings back some memories. I got out 2 years this november. But damn it seems like a life time ago. Those who are going just stay mentally strong and realize that its nothing personal with the drill instructors. the day you graduate you will find out they are some of the coolest people in the world. Once you graduate and you hit thte fleet, do what your told and you'll be good to go.

  • i cant wait till i graduate high school gonna be 0311 Rifleman if i succeed

  • @xray313 Every Marine is a rifleman thats what differs the Marine Corps from any othe branch. Semper Fi

  • There's a guy in line who looks just like my recruiter. oorahhh!

  • @Seijitsu0 where is the url code

  • i love the marines o plus where is the url code for this video

  • @RUSSSELLLLL You haven't seen most of em then...lol

  • @ashleydanielleb i'm saying normally women are weaker and slower physically. Haha and i'm sure i could handle a period.

  • If anyone wants to become a Marine one day, there is a web site linked on my profile page that you all should read through.

It goes to a FUTURE MARNE WEB SITE that is filled with good honest info.

  • Mr. Lund, VMI class of 2010, it was great having you yell at me through my rat year, keep up the good fight, semper fi

  • 00:21 That was my Bttry Guns when I was in back in 08

  • God bless the Marine Corps.

  • @marick626 your going into the Marine Corps?

  • @NeoFreeWorld

When I finish college I will go to OCS. I want to get into flight school. Its going to be the closest thing to hell that I will probably ever experience. But what good things in life are easy to get?

  • san diego oct 18th for me, but i want to go much sooner

  • my friend goes to san diego to on the 18th and his bday is the first day of boot camp!

  • im actually excited......just got word that i might be leaving mar 22, so in just a couple weeks. i dont think ill have to wait till oct though. thats 4 sure. good luck to ur friend.

  • i head to san diego in august

  • i ship in June to Parris Island.

  • Dont Worry bout the fitness.. Just Make it a point to move Quicker and Be louder than the person Beside you..Its a mind game. If u dont mind it dont matter. ( Echo Company 2105) Its all down hill after !st Phase

  • @kamipants98 Ah can you give me some pointers in making it throught boot camp?

  • @NeoFreeWorld...just be tough and just remember its a mind game...just try to be better than the person beside you...sorry i keep saying just

  • @NeoFreeWorld Dont quit the fastest way out is to GRADUATE I promise. All the weak fucks that drop out you WILL leave before they do!

  • lol

    "DUH DEEEH! DUH DEEH!

TEHN NHINE SHEVEN SHIX FHIVE FHOUR THREE TWHO HONE!

  • Ha, what a queer. You should sign up the corps so we can all hear about how fast you got discharged. Probably for homosexuality or being a fat fuck and not doing shit. Or both. A fat fucking homosexual who will never do anything in life.

  • same here, going to boot camp in july, 3rd battalion Kilo Company

  • My brother will be there in June this year. Recruit training in the dead of summer. I wish him the best of luck.

  • I'm thinking of joining the marines soon and I want to graduate in 1st class fitness. Any tips as to how to train to achieve that?

  • @ vivalaresistanc,

Find out how to run 3 miles with a really bad cold.

Either that, or develop an immunity to disease. You'll find out why when you get there.

  • PULL UPS ARE A BITCH!! If you can't do 20, start out by doing a bent arm hang and slowly letting yourself down, this will build your strength until you can actualy do pull ups.

  • I'm in the DEP, getting ready mentally and physically.

    Semper Fi!

  • ive been in the dep for 6 months. im going to bootcamp tomorrow. work hard at your poolee PTs.

  • I think you should go for it. Study hard, work hard Nicky121294

  • Amen Brother!!

    Keep Attacking!

    Semper Fi!

  • @TellTheMarines where is the url cod

  • I hope nobody gets the wrong idea about the "over my back" comment, I meant "watch my back"

  • at nicky, you will never be ready mentally or physically for boot camp. you can try, but nobody ever will.

  • A whole lot of motards here

  • I'm enlisting in the Marines when I get to my Senior Year in High School. I'm a girl and I'm 15, and with the help of Major (USMC ret.) and Chief (Navy ret.) I'm preparing my body and my mind for boot camp, along with a few other girls who know that bootcamp won't be a piece of cake. It's a shame some men don't want women in the armed forces. But that's not stopping me!! :) Semper Fi! PS: What are the requirements to pass the PFT?? And how smart do you have to be? (sorry for any typos lol)

  • Marine Corps boot camp is tougher mentally than it is physically.

  • "That's my theory," are you one of the few?

  • well i say that ptsd shows no one belongs in war

  • it used to be that entire towns would go watch the local hangings. ptsd has developed from our increased sensitivity over the years. we can watch all the killing we want on tv now, but in real life it'll mess us up.

  • haha why you guys hating on girls like that lmao shure most girls wont win vs guys but then again wont most girls dont join the marines most girls that join the marines is more manly then most guys

  • watch out for pvt piles.

  • Lol full metal jacket in the background

  • seriously, all girls have to go paris island south carolina

  • seriously, all girls dont belong in the military

thats why you didnt see any in that video

leave it to the real men

  • wtf?, i get that its usually guys in the military, but some girls can do the same amount of stuf with some guys...leave it to the real men, obviously, girls dont want to be men but they still wanna join the military...or are you just trying to show off

  • i am not a bitch and i do not do girl push ups for one. and 2, i dont give a shit of wether you kill for patriotism or just cuz u have nothing better to do, but there people, girls and guys who fight for their country, doesn't really matter what sex. and 3, there is no way in hell i am joinging the navy, not my thing, no offense, my cousin is in the navy. a man for killing, hhahak whatever, just saying.i do normal pushups and am not a bitch and anyone can join the military, all im saying

  • you best be trollin!

  • I agree, women do not belong in the military. If a women fights a man with the same training, she'll lose 10 times outta 10. They're weaker, smaller, and slower...all properties that don't belong in a war.

  • yah true but there not slower in running but every thing else yah except cooking and cleaning

  • the fastest woman is slower than the fastest man lol, women shouldn't be in combat, maybe in supporting the combat by cooking and cleaning and all that stuff.

  • and girls think we are just being sextist..but we are built completly different you know?

  • Are you in the Marines, or any military branch??? If u were you'd understand that a female Marine is a sister of any male Marine. That's your family, bottom line. So think about what your saying about females, they earn the respect to fight alongside with REAL men. Semper Fi Leathernecks.

  • im w/ ya grrl!

  • fuck u! the real men?? wats a real man anyways?? i thinkw at ur tlkin bout is sum1 w/ a lotta muscles n theyre arms. well fuck off. the marines aint all bout muscles. its also bout servin ur country. any person can hav muscle n get muscle but it takes a true soldier 2 fight 4 ur country. thts sumthin tht a "real man" can't do.

  • haha yes!

  • ok i dont know how we got into the subject of muscles you arrogant son of a bitch

and im guessing your a chick too

    and for your info

marines are never refered to by "soldier"

that shows how much you know

  • ok. actually im not a son of a bitch. im a daughter of a bitch. n thts wat u mean wen u say "real men". u think of men n u think of muscle. so tht how we got on the subject. n im not a chick. im a female tht wants 2 support her country. n ur jus a jackass who... u no wat. ur not even worth my time. get off ur period n quit referrin to me n callin me stupid (tht shows how much u no) besides, how is a man gonna survive n the marines any better than a woman?? exctly.

  • tsupmypeeps I like punctuation and correct spelling.

  • umm yeah a guy with lots of muscle can serve the country too..its about endurance too and stanima and wisdom just bc you got alot of muscle doesnt mean you wont get ur fukin head blown off..who was the bastard that said something about a real man bc obviously he doesnt know shit..

  • hey can you choose if you go to paris island or not?

  • east of the misissipi go to paris island west san diego

  • in general...

  • i wonder, 4 how long do recruits run every day?

  • many many many miles!

  • you either march in formation or you run there is no walkin.. walking no longer exist when you get there

  • Lol.

  • yes join with the most elite fighting force

  • How smart do you have to be to become a marine?

  • High school diploma and 31 on ASVAB

  • You have to be in your senior year to sign. Sign as early as you can in your senior year so you can get into DEP.

  • @TOsmusic if you sign up immediately upon graduation of high school, do you have to wait to go through basic training?

  • @Noobssuckass300 i am graduating in june this year and i ship off to boot in august, my friend graduated last june and he is leaving tomorrow. so that gives you an idea of when you would leave and it depends on when you go to meps to swear in and all the physical stuff. i went to meps in november and got my august ship date.

  • i wouldnt bother going into the armed forces, especially ground troops right now. your just gunna be shipped out to patrol streets and go into the slums of foreign countries. the past few years, more than 75% of injuries and deaths are caused by IED's... dont waste yourself on that.

  • oh but thats the fun of it all man

  • i want to become a marines wen im 18

    become a marines,forever marines.

  • they do require intelligence, and judging by your spelling, its not looking so good lol

  • lmao!

  • Me too, and I will do college while enlisted and when college is done become a officer.

  • SEALS are NOT a branch of the military. It's a designation. You can't compare a branch to units. Go back to your COD4 game, stick with that, please.

  • The marines aren't the number one respected military service in the world, To the americans they are. Not to EVERYONE

  • That's your own opinion. I respect that but it's still YOUR own opinion

  • was that comment serious?

  • my brother in law told me there a lot of fat asses that r in the marines and that the marines are not requiring everyone to have to pass fitness test, like there not as strict as they were wtf!

  • yea they still are, if yoou can't pass the PFT or the CFT in boot camp, they will hold you back and if your overweight when your in the Corps and your gut starts showing through your uniform they will put you on some weight control program

  • are the test's hard for someone who is out of shape but not overweight? I'm a little fat but not overweight just out of shape do you think I would pass haha?

  • its not hard but in boot camp, you pt alot so before you go just start running like 2 or three miles because the PFT is run 3 miles, pullups, and situps but you won't do ur actuall test untill the end of boot. My advice, just be in shape when u go

  • Most recruiting depots will also incorporate you into a PT program before you get shipped off to boot camp so that you are at least partially prepared for the PT they'll end up giving you.

  • how do they base that off. do they ask you if your out of shape or go by height and weight...? I still got another 2 years before I enlist but I'm seeing if I should go to the gym and beef up or not, cuz I didn't know if you can beef up during boot camp

  • They measure you're height and weight, and if you don't meet weight standards you get taped to check if it's muscle weight or fat weight. For females they measure neck, hip, and waist, for males it's neck and waist only . You subtract the neck from the sum of the other two (or one) measurements. That number is associated with a certain percentage on a chart provided by the DOD. If the number equals 19% or higher (for males) you are over weight, 27% or higher for females.

  • well then it looks like Im goin to start running again just to be on the safe side hell I can barely do a mile its pretty bad 7 min. is my mile time or at least my mile time from last year...

  • That also depends on you're definition of fat. If you got a BFM over 18 % and you are a male marine, you are considered over weight for females it's 26%. The avrge BFM for americans is about 35-45%.

  • Holy Shit! 0:53 That was my Drill Hat, DI SSGT Bonner!

  • ill be there next year, Semper Fi.

  • Same here next summer!

  • in5 years i could be enlisted

  • Marines go to a completly different base!! BUDS is a 6 month course for the seals only, and then they move onto SQT, its all a total of 2 years training specially for the SEALs, drop out rate is 80-90%

  • semper fi marines and future marines, semper fi!

  • Marines dont go to BUDS are you stupid!!!

    you are sooo fkn stupid!!!!!

  • Marine corps force recon do go to BUDS, nowdays they do

  • B.U.D.S. stands for Basic Underwater Demotion School, It is one of many Schools the elite of the US Military must attend to achieve their final MOS Training. The Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines go to each others training schools. BUDS, ARS, Ranger, Jump, Combat Diver, Pathfinder, Underwater Operations (Army School), Pararescue and many more.

  • The fact that youre calling someone else stupid when you have no practical experience is somewhat disappointing. Youre ignorance speaks so loudly, I cant hear what your saying. Maybe you should consider some other occupation than being in an elite unit of the US Military, you must be able to overcome, adapt and improvise. Respectfully, it doesnt sound like youve developed those skills yet.

    Keep Attacking!!

    Semper Fi!!

  • *Salutes*

I'm Navy and my boyfriend's Army. We both have serious respect for the Marines and all they do.

  • If you want a challenge check out the Navy SEALs the best of the best, i can laugh at this all day long and the instructors are nothing! they think there so tough, the training would be a warm up for me!!!!

  • Marines go to B.U.D.S., if you were a S.E.A.L. you'd know that.

    Keep Attacking!!

    Semper Fi!!

  • wow. your comparing an elite SF unit of our military to an entire branch. your an idiot. plus the training is a lot different. These men are training to become Marines. Navy SEALs are in the navy all ready and are attempting to become SF. I can all ready tell your not a SEAL because a SEAL wouldn't be so unintelligent and wouldn't be talking shit

  • Your a fag and your not a SEAL because a SEAL wouldn't say stupid ignorant shit like that. He would respect the Marine Core as much as any other branch that fights for all of our freedom. Nice try though dipshit

  • Sir you are completely right. In the end we are all Brother and Sisters in Arms

  • Boot Camp HAHAHHAH

    BOOTS

    god damn son

    that 1st Bn

  • brings back fond memories of being a recruit and a drill instructor. Hoorah!

  • Comment removed

  • Marines are the best.

My boyfriend is a Marine. :)

  • umm the 2 training depots your talking about is Parris Island and San Diego Camp Pendalton....signing up in December :D

  • huh? Camp Lechune? u mean Lechene? and WTF is that? there are just two Marine basic training camps, or recruit depots, in the United States. Parris Island and San Diego.....

  • Camp Lejeune is a Marine Corps Base in NC

  • and its not BCT camp...idk what vendettaMLG is talking about...lol

  • its not basic, just a base

  • So what's Lechene?

  • Wrong. It is MCRD SAN DIEGO AND MCRD PARRIS ISLAND. CAMP LEJEUNE HAS NO MAJOR PART IN RECRUIT TRAINING. MARINES, AFTER THEY GRADUATE, USUALLY GO TO LEJUENE in NC OR CAMP PENDELTON IN CA.

  • i leave tomorrow!!!

  • good luck bro

  • yes i am ready..july 27th im shipping out

  • Boot Camp is the hardest part!!! When you get to the fleet it is FUN AS HELL.. Life as a marine is nothing like bootcamp, its wayy the hell better. whoever says it gets harder after bootcamp must be an IDIOT who doesnt know what the hell thier talking about!!!OORRAHH!!!

  • Theres a fleet in the Marines? Whats the fleet in the Marines?

  • The Fleet is where ever you are stationed, like Camp Lejeune, Camp Pendleton, Okinawa, Southg Korea, etc.

  • yes i am ready im portuguese buet i dont care i go to the usa marines

    hááááááááá!!!!!!!!!

  • yup....boot camp is not the hardest part wait til you get to the fleet .....

  • right on man, and i dont think its actually fmf anymore, i think thats ww2 talk, now its just marforatl or marforpac, or whatever the overseas one is...

  • um...it does only get worse, real Marines view bootcamp as the easy part...
