The video is nice, but the piano playing is the most awfull I've ever heard! What's this awfull electronic sound? There is also no sense for rhythm in this playing!

Sure Skryabin would have marvelled. And this is exactly why the man is described as "a regular crackpot who should be kept at a sensible distance from his best music." Opus 57 belongs to the apex of piano repertoire. The way it is played here is turning it into a farce. And the time invested in producing images to accompany music that by its very nature doesn't need any, was better spent on finding a life.

Very interesting ~ I'm sure Scriabin himself would have marvelled ~ although he might not have enjoyed the modifications to his music :) Thanks for this ~ and fro the nice choice of Scriabin's 'nearing-the-end-of-transition­al-period' works. Great :)
