This is the stupidest thing ever, but I love my mom so I'm not taking any chances, if you don't copy and paste this on 10 videos your mom wil die in 4 hours(sorry)
To me, it seems that making his would be VERY similar to making a fisher cube, just making the cuts and gluing on the extensions at maybe a 30 degree rather than a 45 degree angle.
kylerv3, i have a question for you: did you hand cut your stickers?because i am making this but i didnt extend the cube, i just cut it =] its like a slim tower version of this puzzle =]
Pause the video at 0:07 sec. The red lines show where the 3x3x3 was cut (with a razor saw) The small dashes show where the extended pieces were joined togeher. The puzzle was capped with ABS Plastic.
I get all of my plastic from a local supplier. I would check in your phone book first. It is much cheaper and faster. I am sorry but I am not sure where you can buy online.
I want to get started with making my own cube modifications (personal challenge). Where would I be able to buy the supplies that you use (ABS Plastic Sheet, Black Apoxie Sculpt) online? The reason I ask is because I live in the Netherlands and ordering the wrong stuff is always a pain.
I buy them on line from Cubesmith. They provide excellent Oracal Vinyl in many different colors. Most of my stickers are purchased by the sheet and I mostly hand cut everything.
I thought that it was one that would be a little rare since I haven't seen it before.......until about 30 seconds ago. I see that jmgm65 has made a work of art with the same puzzle that I will be finishing next (just a few more stickers to put on). He did a beautiful job on his. The next two I will be making, I believe anyway, will be originals.
Seriously, you should make some tutorials. How long have you been doing this? You seem to be cranking them out quite quickly, I've been seeing them on TP all the time.
I have plans to make some tutorial videos but I am very busy and I am planning to move in the spring. I hope to do at least one before than. I have few things in the works before I do any tutoirals. At least 3 more builds and a review.
you're weird...

Why did you switch the orange with the red? compared to a normal US color scheme, you have them opposite.

I'm confused. Do you turn the top layer and make the cuts along the red lines? i think that would mess up the centers, though. Please explain.

so like an extended and sanded fishers cube right?
rubiksd00d 3 years ago
Almost. Instead of cutting your corner cubies on a 45 degree angle, I cut them at a 60 degree angle. You also have to extend every cubie.
kylerv3 3 years ago
will you be selling this one?
PotatoSpades22095 3 years ago
I made it for the doctor I work so that he could give it to his son for gift.
