Believe me, I was there yesterday (now im in new york :().... It's VERY fun but it definitely isnt a true simulator. All the controls, switches, modules, etc. that they showed in this vid isnt actually in the ride. Its not THAT sophisticated. There is a few screens, buttons and a joystick. But I really recommend riding it.

so ok, for anyone who is wondering:

i went on this ride last Wednesday, on the Orange team. Seriously, don't get frightened by what others say. It was SO much fun, and if you do what they say, to look straight ahead and don't close your eyes, it really feels amazing, like you ARE taking off. I was fine afterward as well, no motion sickness, no disorientation. My mom complained she felt like she couldn't breathe, but you CAN... you just gotta breathe normally. If you don't do it you'll miss out!

I went on this ride for my first time about 2 weeks ago and I went on orange team but I felt like I was going to puke on the g force part. But the weightless part was my favorite part of the ride because you feel like your really in space.

first of all its not all that great. because my dad went on this ride like when it came out and when he got on he got motion sickness on this and we went back to hotel and he slept for 2 hours. if i were u dont go on it cuz the thing is spinning and if u dont like motion sickness rides.

Warning. Don't ride this if you are claustraphobic. I went on the green several times and the the last time I went on, there was a technical difficulty and we were sitting in those tight capsules for about 6 minutes and we couldn't move because the harness was over us and it was probably the longest 6 minutes of my life. Without the movie show and the fan blowing on your face, you really feel like you are in a coffin.

This is bullshit.

It's actually nothing as the real space mission, but two persons actually died because of it (one of them is 4 years old kid).

Also it's possible to get your internal organs damaged and you won't know it until they start to dysfunction years later.

It's a spaceshuttle simulator which if you go on the orange version of the ride you get quite a bit of g-forces.

its a sentrifuge,3 arms with capsules on, inside its a tv monitor, that shows the launch and its equiped with a lot of buttons to push on, when comanded,the capsule then rotates while you are inside.but you wont see it,only feel the g forces on your body,. its a great ride, intence,but great,. just dont ride it if you have any heart conditions or easy gets motion sick , no neck injuries ,. i have been on it many many times ,. loved it every time,.

Absolutely amazing, awesome, terrific and unforgettable! Blasts you away, literally. But only if you take the REAL challenge and opt for team orange. Team green is for senior citizens, small kids, guests with health problems and sissys, team orange is the ride with spinning and the real thing and comes very near to what an actual trip into space would feel like. I know all WDW theme parks and their attractions and this is my new favourite. If you are in EPCOT don't miss it!

This ride is a real killer... Not 2 bad for Disney. This ride owns Snorin', I mean Bori, ahem, Soarin', the biggest disappointment of all. The best part of Epcot are the female cast members at Norway!!! I wanna give those lovely Aryan goddess' a shout out for having to put up with mindless tourists while still remaining very pleasant and absolutely gorgeous. There are a few of them that look like the trolls they sell in the gift shop, but they are still nice none the less.
