Science is not about truths. It is about theories that explain the experimental evidence we have found. There are no new (accepted) scientific theories that go against the prevalent evidence nor have there ever been. We only have theories that explain the current evidence differently and yes sometimes they are ridiculed.

Btw, quantum physics doesn't really go against any current evidence, just provides a more accurate theory.

Just look at his biography on his own website and you find he was born in 1932, completed infant school in 1942, completed secondary schol in 1944, then started Naval School and was awarded an honours degree in 1946 (age 14).

With his degree from the Navy he was then employed as both a trainee pharmasist AND as an apprentice electrical fitter - at the same time!!!!

Ive been interested in the SEG since i first saw the story on local news in the 60's/70's. I remember they called it a levity disc. From what i remember the disc was not like the "Demo 1". It was a disc about 2 feet in diameter and quite thin. Perhaps around 10mm thick. However it did show that it flew. In fact, after he let it go. It disappeared into the distance. If i remember correctly it was Anglian television who covered the story. There was no mention of it being a free energy device.

There are two problems in my eyes to this story, otherwise i'm completely taken.

1. Why isn't there a working prototype today?

2. How has he still got his hands? - After holding onto the demonstration model in his home at the beginning of all this, he stated that the temperature of the device got down to 4K. Now i'm pretty certain that if I held onto some thing that was at 4K, then my hands would have suffered frostbite, and probably have been amputated.

I ordered and watched the DVD. It seems pretty convincing and I wish with all my heart that this was true. But, if it is true, I would be EXTREMELY ANGRY at John Searl. This guy has the opportunity to save the world from the energy tyrants and he is keeping the secret locked in his head until he gets a patent. The man could become a legend with wealth and fame lavished upon him if he just gave it away free to the world. That is why I think it is fake. So fake or not, he's still a jerk.
