Make sure you check your state guidelines first before you do this. Some states like mine (illinois) you need a licenses to do make-up and hair for pay. If it is tfp you do not need a licenses, but should not recieve pay. The only way you can do make-up and get paid without a licenses is working at like a cosmetics counter. Becareful check because you could get fined or even sued. I wanted to do weddings, asked the owner of my cosmetology school and she said you need a licenses.
