Col and I plan on joining soon, but what I don't understand is when our own troops complain about "the endless, pointless war in Iraq", they run the risk of losing buddies or dying when they sign up. When has war ever had a point? Every war has political gain, we've grown to think that we should only go to war if it's meaningful, but there never will be.

U.N. security council ratification? The United States military does NOT have to follow any orders from foreign governments, organizations or entities. They only violate their oath when they follow an unlawful order or illegal action regardless of who orders it.
