@2020cody coming from muay thai, I also keep my hands up for kicks, punches etc too :L but I never see guards up in these competitions so I assume that many taekwondo fighters arent taught to do this for some reason, so don't be duhhing me boy! my guards always up and u put hand twice it's head* :P

@kyle1172 yea becos if u guard up u find urself not being able to kick as fast and becos we cant do punches to the head, we normally keep our hands to our stomach area onli, or sometimes just drop our hands to bait our opponent

@kyle1172 i do muay thai 5 years exp, and recently started doing taekwondo as well, hands are down to be able to kick faster, keep ur balance and momentum to bait and or distract imo xD
