I have stood in front of him. Well, I stood, he stumbled. Could be the extreme drinking he does or just the general lack of physical health. Either way, I watched & was included in seminars with him. And I am not impressed at all. He tried to demonstrate how flexibility is purely in the mind. That he does not need to stretch to kick high. So he demonstrated on a 5'3" guy & barely reached his shoulders, while leaning all the way back & grunting when he tried to pull forward after the kick. For ex
juchnik is a con-artist. It appears shihan 1000 that you have been conned for 40 yrs. juchnik even had a honorary diploma on the wall and covered up the word honorary trying to mislead students. The guy is a fake!
I trained many years with Hanshi Bruce Juchnik, I started with him when his title was Shihan Juchnik, back in the 80's and thru the 90's. I received my Black belt and was later ranked to Shihan, and then to Bucho in the healing arts of Kosho, by Hanchi Juchnik. I want all of you to know that Hanchi Jucknik is as real and true to the truth of martial arts than anyone I've ever known or studied under in my 40yrs experience.
I have watched seminars with Bruce Jucknik & a black belt test. I have been in the arts for about 22 years now & trained under many amazing martial artists. Bruce Jucknik did not impress me. He was a fat drunk, who claims lots & is easily seen through when you are not fake falling down for him.
He demonstrated his flexiblity by using Jon Ludwig as the uke. Who is 5'2" tall. He got about chest level. SAD!
I enjoy stories, but not if that is all a person has.
@carolan76 I have seen lots of people flap their gums about Hanshi until they're standing in front of him trying to hit him. You sound like a good flapper.

Didn't Juchnik have his diploma signed by someone other than James Mitose? I'd call that dishonesty no matter how well he knows motion and movement.
He went as far as placing James Mitose's name under his phone number...over 25 years after Mitose died.

I agree, the basis of Kosho is the usage of natural forces, not muscle. Excellent movements though.
