Refreshing? BMW 3-Series @ 2008 Paris Auto Show

Finally, a german brand with some balls to send their new diesel technology across the pond. I'm still waiting for audi's 3.0 TDI A4/A5. If they continue to be apprehensive I'll just settle for the bmw. When will they learn, America IS ready for diesel.

no german car no matter what should be that slow.. they should have like a 4.5 second min. and even thats to slow.. they should all be 0-60 in 3 range and 1/4 mile in -13 range

Idiot, its a diesel, but very refined, fast AND economical AND low emmisions. Bloody nice. I have a 330i and it is fantastic fun, but this is not only faster still but has twice the range, wow. Also my 330 has little torque under 2000 revs, on a slight incline if I squeeze the throttle you can feel it struggle under 2000. All this is academic in the 335d and Td, bucket loads of torque from low revs to max.
