This shooter is ultra realistic.....no magical health packs or revives when you get shot you are dead.....same goes for the enemy.

You have to really take your time to use strategy, to defeat the enemy or you want last 5 second with BIA.

Gamespot doesnt like deatiled, in-depth and historically correct WWII games, so they mark it down for that. A more realistic rating for this game would be about an 8.5 -9.0, the original BIAs got a 9.5

and I played the multiplayer and it was tacked on and there was no squad mechanics like the first two games sadley :(

and game spot ducked some points down cuz of its story relied on the first game a little bit but i thought it was ok and there was some glitches and i got the ps3 version and i dont think there are patches

but over all a great game 9 out of 10

The thing about BiA and CoD, is that they are different, very very different. But that's what makes them both great games! I mean who doesn't love sitting in an AC-130 blowing away Russian loyalists. And then other times I love the tactical and gritty game play of BiA. Controlling men and their destiny, and re living many major parts of history are great as well. So both are amazing games. I hate neither, and never will.

Even though I like BiA more the any other WW2 FPS Airborne had better level design. Hells Highway was too linear for my taste.

But BIA needs to make the levels historically accurate, according to what your squad did in reality, suck as ambushing Germans along this street, or holding this farmhouse, linking up with this unit here. So its linear in a historical sence, but more open levels woud be nice in BIA4.

It still would've been nice to have a more open level design like Airborne though. In HH everything feels preset like your supposed to send your squad here and thats it. You can't experiment with tactics. Even though Airborne had no real tactics the level design helped with the replay value.

Why would you try to move your troops where the enemy already is? Otherwise just order them to charge if that's what you want.

You have to hold down the command button and when you put it on an enemy position it will show the attack icon. Let go of the command button and Baker will issue the order to the team you have selected. Get it?

I had to really plan my attacks and place the fire team and assult team in the right spots or else I would never have made it. It was the best WAR game I have ever played ever.
