I peeked today and saw that I'm getting this for Christmas.

I've already watched several reviews on this game before I knew I was getting it. And to be entirely honest, "Ride" actually makes me quite angry at just how horrible it is.

I do skateboard in real life and I know my parents think that I'd like "Ride".

I really don't know how good(or bad)my fake excitement face is going to be tomorrow.

"Ride" is one game that I would never want to have, period.

Calibrating sucks (takes a long time and you have to do it every time you start the game) and riding on a rail in one dimension sucks but other than that not too bad.

Tony Hawk and the THPS series need to stop and going away with dignity. Their time was up since THPS3 for me, others say when after Underground it was waste. Bottom line, for skateboarders we wanted something like SKATE for a long time and most people wanted THPS to go away but had nothing to make them go away. their games suck so hard. however SKATE was a little whack in SKATE2 starting to get a bit THPS-ish. need to tone down the physics.
