@charjaime thanks. Oh and my grandma has been on a million different pills she was on 12 things for all her conditions last I heard I honestly cannot remember the names of them. The main issue is to keep her emotions settled etc at this point they cannot get back what she forgot she can remember old stuff but daily stuff not so much. Have a good day.

@charjaime I agree totally. Every once in a while something beautiful will come along and drapped itself over some of the pain and then you will think that is why I hang in there. This happens when I stare into my baby nephews eyes and he smiles at me with his innocence.

@charjaime I am so sorry. Thats must feel horrible. I cannot say that I know what you mean. But I hope this makes you feel better. Four years ago my Grandmother whome I was very close to died. She didnt remeber anyon but me, mainly because I was over there everyday. I felt horrible because she didnt even remember her own daughter. I didnt cry at the Funeral ( which arent fun!!!). I dont think I cried because I was so empty and incompplete. I wished for an entire year, that it had been a dream :(
@charjaime Just remember, God is always there. He never gives anyone too much that they cannot handle. I know what you are think and I felt that way to. My grandmoher died less than 4 months ago and my grandfather is already thinking about marrige. Yeah didnt like that one bit!!!

We hadn't seen each other in only God knows how long, and I saw him again at of all places, a Wal-mart. the bottom of my stomach dropped to my ankles and I felt a burn in my chest that tightened when he smiled at me. My heart expanded and swelled and I thought I was going to choke on it. Then he put his arms around me and I deflated and I took what seemed the freshest breath of air I would ever again take in my life.

This happened to me last week. I ran into him in the city I live in. He told me he hasn't seen me in 13 years. We were both shocked to see each other, but I instantly felt a connection with him. We talked and then parted ways. And just like in the song, he is married now, but when we spoke to each other we were both oblivious to what was going on around us.

I recently read that when making this video, they were very worried as they realized they had not brought enough film to finish the video. Luckily, they used their last tape and when they got home to watch it, it was all taped in Sepia by accident!

I can relate to this song in a way because my ex broke up with me and alittle later i married someone else ran in to him a few times over the last ten years. he said he wishes he could change things to go back in time. that he loves me. hard for me because he will always be in my heart but i love my husband he was there for me when i gave birth to my daughter and raised her as his own when my ex was not there. my x still asks to b with me.

My Ex and i split 6 years ago next month and I still to this day love and cherish him.......but its not the same kind of love that i had for him when we was together. This song reminds me of my love that I lost to another person... My partner who going to be my wife left me for a person in her past... 3 yrs later I pumped into her in the car park and I smiled and said hello to her and she said this is my husband. I loved her so much but knew I had to let her go. after 4 yrs together and to lose her was the hardest thing I have ever faced but we have to move on..

@charjaime thanks. Oh and my grandma has been on a million different pills she was on 12 things for all her conditions last I heard I honestly cannot remember the names of them. The main issue is to keep her emotions settled etc at this point they cannot get back what she forgot she can remember old stuff but daily stuff not so much. Have a good day.

@charjaime I agree totally. Every once in a while something beautiful will come along and drapped itself over some of the pain and then you will think that is why I hang in there. This happens when I stare into my baby nephews eyes and he smiles at me with his innocence.

@charjaime I am so sorry. Thats must feel horrible. I cannot say that I know what you mean. But I hope this makes you feel better. Four years ago my Grandmother whome I was very close to died. She didnt remeber anyon but me, mainly because I was over there everyday. I felt horrible because she didnt even remember her own daughter. I didnt cry at the Funeral ( which arent fun!!!). I dont think I cried because I was so empty and incompplete. I wished for an entire year, that it had been a dream :(

When I heard this song for the first time, I was leaving a situation of running into him. In back seat of cab crying because i remembered. I wished I hadn't ran but I did. As I set in the back seat of the car this song started to play. I cried for my loss and realized I was happy he was happy. he deserved. It hurts to hear the song still because memories or there. @TheWhitevoices I actually live in the pueblo adjacent to where this video was shot in Guatemala and I don't know what Reba McEntire intended, but there is very little 'missionary bullshit' here. In fact there is little aid to speak of. The people you see in this video are very real and this is very much so how they live their lives.

@jenny00004 Yep that was Mark Derwin who played Mallet and Beth Ehlers who was Harley. They were a real life couple for several years while both on Guiding Light and after they both left the show (1993). That was back when GL was at it's best.

This happened to me last week. I ran into him in the city I live in. He told me he hasn't seen me in 13 years. We were both shocked to see each other, but I instantly felt a connection with him. We talked and then parted ways. And just like in the song, he is married now, but when we spoke to each other we were both oblivious to what was going on around us.

I love this song because it reminds me of myself My first love and ex-fiance he cheated on me when we were engaged but I ended the relationship because I couldn't have a marriage without trust. Now he is married to another woman and has a son, we have talked every once in a great while. He will always be my first love but I am happy that he is happy with his life! I also know there are so many women out there who have gone through the same thing as I have but that first love is always there.
