Yes, "different tones" from different guitars. A good reason why having more than one kind of guitar would be ideal.

Hey sound nice..the ultra sounds better and fuller to me...can you tell me more about what people are complaining about...they say the pick ups are weak (compared to what I wonder) and when you use a combination of pick ups you loose a lot of tone...can you elaborate a little please as I'm thinking about trading my guitar for on one of these....thanks a lot....

I don't know what all the complaints are about the Ultra III as its a fantastic guitar and the stock Duncan designed pickups sound great. There are so many different tone variations to get from this guitar.

Thanks!! Yea, the Schecter Ultra III is one fanastic guitar. To me, it plays and sounds like a Gibson Firebird with its three mini humbuckers.
