What do you know! I always thought the nets in the settling chamber are there to dampen the velocity peaks in the velo distribution but luckily Christina Horner has now rectified my false piece of knowledge. The nets are there to clean the impurities from the flow. Wow! good to know.
@Apexjuha he was trying to describe it in laymans terms. The fluctuations can be described as pollutants coming from the fan. Pollutants doesnt necessarily mean the likes of car exhausts.
