You can't compare Macedonia of 1991 with old macedonia... How the heck they communicated each other if Alexander was Slav and theres another problematic point. Greeks called Barbarians (its root is from ancient greek) the people from other nations. Ancient Macedonian was a Greek dialect and has nothing to do with the language currently spoken in Skopje which belongs to the Eastern branch of the South Slavic language group and is closely related to Bulgarian. Slavs came to the region around the 6th century AD.

@lsdvine We use the term "macedonian" here just to specify what we mean. Also, G.Alexander was educated by Aristotle who was greek. How the heck they communicated each other if Alexander was Slav and theres another problematic point. Greeks called Barbarians (its root is from ancient greek) the people from other nations. The problem isnt geographical (theres a part in Bulgaria called Macedonia) but since it is a geographical specification we dont have any problem.

The Macedonian language was not Greek until Alexander the Great spread it to himself? The Macedonians spoke another language but we can't find any trace of it? The Macedonians were Hellenized by themselves but we dont know when where or why? The Macedonians spread the Greek language to all conquered lands but kept their own language hidden till the slavs invaded upon which they taught it to them but not to the Greeks they "conquered"

Even the former prime minister of FYROM, now a Bulgarian citizen, knows and speaks the truth. That the people of FYROM are of Bulgarian and Albanian origin. Not a big secret. He even wrote the book "Facing the Truth" about it.
"Bulgarian historians say that FYROM citizens are of Bulgarian origin and their language developed from a Bulgarian dialect," which Skopje denies.

Kissinger’s statement, who speaking in Paris said: “Greece is right about the name issue. I say this because I know history, which American Ministers and officials do not.
