maybe the reason why Yolanda was so obsessed with Selena is because Selena always dressed like a hoochie. Yah, she is beautiful and has a great voice, but she was always in her bra. I'm a sixteen year old black girl with no spanish in me, and that's how she affected me. I grew up with knowing who she was and listening to her songs even though I am who I am. That's how she effects you...dont even know spanish. Thing is I dont have to...her voice was so powerful that I didnt need to know what she was saying. Her smile..her laughter..if she was alive today i would tell her she was an inspiration to me..sorry i'm like crying :( A mexican american ;) she was true to herself.
