@1LaneOnly actually it is disputed , there is no direct evidence from the Quran that they must cover their hair. There is one verse , ordering the covering of bosoms in order to differentiate between slaves and free women, and even that is not in effect any more. The covering of hair comes basically from a tradition to cover from the sun, that got mixed up and jumbled in Islam somehow. Dressing modestly is encouraged of course, but each woman should decide what modest means to her. Peace bro

This is a great video... So many people complain that there are no moderate Muslims, and I tell them there are. I know them myself! This is very well done, scholarly, and without the propagandist fear mongering that is painfully obvious amongst Islam's detractors. There is a lot of diversity amongst 1.2B people. I am not a Muslim, but in the SF bay area, every Muslim I have met amazes me as to how they don't live up to any of the stereotypes.

And what was Islam when Muhammad murdered others with his own hands? Or what was Islam when they conquered other countries based on specific teachings within Islamic? How about you go live in Iran, shia muslims (not sunnis/ wahabis like in Saudi Arabia), and you will see the same human rights abuses. I have some faith in the younger generations of these countries that they will become moderate, and yet the virus of faith is so insidiously force fed at such a young age.
