  • Scott Montgomery is a bellend

  • I love this game!!!

  • the fans go crazy like if they were watching soccer games...

  • I agree @jwalker627. The pocket pair was a 3 to 2 favorite against Scott's one suited overcard before the flop. Sick river, tho.

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah :DDD

  • This isn't a bad beat at all.

  • .n/m

  • 666>AAA?

  • @jrperez92 The two aces on the table gave Eastgate a full house.

  • @jrperez92 666AA > AAAQ4

  • @jrperez92

    full 666AA vs AAA ......

    Win full

  • Full 666AA vs AAA

    win full

  • @notthenextstig lol i was wondering the same thing. but then i finally figured it out. its cuz Eastgate had a full house. and Montgomery had 3 of a kind. Eastgate with his 3 6s and the two aces

  • Wow.. U gotta lov poker..

  • He actually called the card on the river at 1:28.

  • would've been a bad beat for eastgate if he lost

  • woooooooooooow so sick and Eastgate very-very lucky.

  • I loved this after watching Montgomery's nasty suckout on Paul Snead (the hand where Tiffany Michelle calls the clock)

  • 2% chance of hitting, Thats a bad beat.

  • @znad23 do you practise being an idiot or does it come naturally?

  • yea

  • cause he had three 6's and 2 A's for a full house while fatboy was stuck with three A's only.

    Full House > Three A's

  • Ehm he had 3 aces and peter had 3 6's why does peter win sry im noob to poker

  • Scott is one of the worst players in WSOP.

  • it's not even close to a bad beat at all!!! scott was lucky to hit find one of the three aces, let alone TWO

  • @AA72AA72

Yes. Good players understand that. You dont need to explain it to the Fish.

we are better off if they think its a bad beat. Helps me make a living.

  • that was awesome how that worked out. montgomery played horribly the whole world series and got lucky time and time again. He had a broken leg of a hand going into the flop, the deck gave him a crutch with an ace, another ace and another crutch on the turn, then the deck shoots him dead in the face!!!

  • idiot

  • Superdave u fkn idiot u dont know shit about him so stfu u fkn poor looser. He has personality it just doesnt seem like it when he speaks english if u know what i mean

  • "Oh poor me, I have to go home with only my 3 million plus." Hah. Yes, it was a painful river, but I don't think he's complaining too much, and neither would I in his shoes.

  • at least it's lot better than watching dwan acting like a fag and talking gay or watching jamie gold with his blabber mouth. Eastgate is not as funny and sociable like Phil Laak, Unabomber but at least he doesn't act like an idiot.

  • Comment removed

  • ever consider what eastgate lacks in tv personality makes him a good poker player? his lack of personality and emotion is what makes him so hard to read

  • Not a bad beat at all. It was all in pre flop. Eastgate was big favourite to win. It doesn't matter how the cards come out

  • yea

  • sickest beat of the tourney...

is what philips did legal? he went through the dead/mucked cards.. see the dealers expression 2:03.. lol she is like wtf?

  • lol. It is illegal. You can't go through dealer's mucked cards. But I don't think they made any penalty for that because it's not like he went through mucked cards that were mucked during the play. All of the cards were dead during pre-flop because they're simply trash cards and they don't give any vital information about the players. For example, I folded 3 9 offsuits. Is there any special information you can get off that? So yeah, they didn't make a big deal out of it.

  • @EdDy4RheelZ The dealer is like "WTF? Why are you touching the cards?"

  • But Phillips is stupid. It's not like he had to reveal the dead 6 of clubs to prove that it was one-outer. Everybody can see it through ESPN.

  • He was showing everybody that was there in person, the coverage isn't live so they don't get to see the pocket cam on the taping until the show is produced and aired later.

  • i'm watching this video for the 7th or 8th time, so damn hilarious. Gotta love that river. That river was the feeling of justice. LOL.

  • i love when ppl wonder how three of a kind loses to a full house

  • "We all hate the River, and then their are times where we all LoVe The River"

  • :))):O:O:))) Peter Eastgate's no.1 :X:X

  • i wonder if phillips got a penalty for going through the muck looking for his cards at the end there

  • that montgomery kid sucked out in the late stages of the tournament anyways, he should be happy that he even made final table

  • Eastgate was calm because he just KNEW that six would hit on the river^^

  • lol, those euro hooligans.

    hey hey ho

    hey hey ho

oo wa oo wa oooo wa

oo wa oo wa oooo wa

    blah blah blah blah

    blah blah blah blah

I was so happy when Eastgate pulled that one-outer. Montgomery so deserved it. pulling outers and sucking out all the time against Snead and Marquis. lol. He's one of worst players ever to make it to final table. lol. i've never seen montgomery play strategically. it's either all in or fold for him.

  • oh yes thank u

  • why Peter Eastgate won this hand??

  • lol? full house? AA666

  • It's not a suckout or a bad beat if you were behind when you went all in. It's justice.

  • Thank you. Finally, someone here knows what poker is. This isn't even a bad beat. Well, it is a suckout because Eastgate was behind until the river but this round isn't a bad beat at all. If Eastgate and MOntgomery both saw the flop and then Eastgate went all in because he didn't believe Montgomery but sucked out at river, then it's a bad beat. But they both all-ined during pre-flop. So like you said, it's not a bad beat. After all, Montgomery deserved it.

  • Well, ok. you've right, if you mean if they go all in preflop. ok. but just say, it's the worst SUCK OUT on the river i've never seen.

And i can play poker, let's meet us and i show you how a "donk" (you said this to me) plays. I finished the wsop 2008 1,5k no-limit tournament on the 46th. place. and later, i met scott montgomery, he's just a nice guy, and he can play good poker. someone has more luck, someone less.

But i want to play you guy^^ But no 1/2$ or 2/4^^. you have some many?^^ no...

  • worst suckout you've never seen? From this comment, you probably haven't played poker for a long time. I've had people pull runner cards on me, which is 0.4%. I had pocket 3s, flop had 2,2,3. My opponent had 3 9. We went all in during flop. Turn AND river are both 9s. That itself is more horrible than this video's suckout. There are tons of bad beats around in this world but this video is the worst you've seen? Oh boy, you must not have witnessed or experienced bad beats many times.

  • "he's a nice guy" ok, I can admit that because when he lost this round, he just accepted defeat and walked away happily. But that has nothing to do with his skills in poker. People like Eastgate, I can respect them as pro, or at least Demidov for this year's ESPN. But not Montgomery. There are players I can respect and look upto as pro poker player, such as ferguson, nguyen, hellmuth, chan, brunson, ivey, negreanu, harman, etc. But not Montgomery.

  • What da hell is EdDy4RheelZ posting^^

No Bad Beat? My Godness, you have no idea about poker, i think. lol. That is one of the sickest bad beats on the river i've never seen. One outer with 2% for one card. That is no bad beat after he hit trips and was 98% leader??? lol.

Go home and read a book about playing poker donk.

And DanielLukic: Scott is a very good player, if he is a bad player, he will not been under the best 9 players on a 6000 playerfield. that isn't only luck

  • LOL. This isn't even a fucking bad beat. They all-ined during the pre-flop. If they saw the flop and THEN all-ined, then yes, it's a bad beat because he pulled one-outer from the flop. But all-ining during pre-flop, you dunno wtf is gonna happen. So it's appropriate to say that it's a bad beat if someone with lower pre-flop winning percentage wins. Go leran poker and learn what bad beat is. Fucking donk. Scott fucking sucks. He's a fucking joke. Heads up, I can squash that fish anyday.

  • If Scott is a very good player, I'm a fucking god of this game. Please tell me you're joking about Scott being a good player. If not, then you're just a same donk as him who can't play poker for shit. But I like it if you can't play poker for shit because I make money off idiots like you in casinos everytime I go. So thank you for giving your money to poker community.

  • I know so many no-name donks who made it to final table through luck. And then sadly, you don't hear from them again in future. Why? Because they can't get lucky every tournament. Consistent players make it to final tables in SEVERAL tournaments. Scott can't even play this game strategically. His way of winning is purely luck, by all ining during pre-flop with slight advantage.

  • This isn't even bad beat. They all ined from pre-flop. If they both saw the flop and THEN all in, then yes, it's a bad beat. But Pre-flop all ining is like a bingo game and bad beat from this point is if someone with lower winning pre-flop percentage wins the game. So therefore, it's not a bad beat.

  • it still got his hopes up when he saw the last 6 in the deck on the river to eliminate him from the 2008 MAIN EVENT.

  • Scott Montgomery has to be one of the worst poker players I have ever seen. I laughed so hard when I saw this hand because he so deserved it after giving that guy that HORRIFIC beat earlier in the tournament...

    I can't believe he came 5th lol

  • Seriously, seeing guys like Montgomery makes me think of WSOP as a joke. He sucked out way too many times. It's a fucking joke. He's better off becoming a fucking bingo player. He sucked out against Craig Marquis even when Marquis flops his trip 7s. Not only that, he sucked out against Snead with Ace during the path to final table. Montgomery can't play strategically. One of luckiest poker players in the world who can't play poker for shit.

  • that was my sister dealing :D

  • Gosh.....

  • can somebody plz tell me how many chips did eastgate had when the hand started?

  • not a bad beat at all when the money went in, just unfortunate for Scott the way the cards panned out to give him false hope. Eastgate made a good call again with the best hand. The kid has ice in his veins, doesn't even flinch when he is just about drawing dead

  • lol are you retarded? Eastgate was favourite when all the money got into the pot, 66 is 3 to 1 favourite against A3, it doesnt matter how the board runs. Learn some of poker before write "terrible beat".

  • haha never mine , i finally see that full house hahaha

  • i dont understand how he won this hand

it was 3 aces losing to 3 6's

  • weeeeeeeeee

  • LOL the funniest hand in poker I have ever seen
