I really like Army of Darkness but it's a little slapstick heavy. Not that I don't like slapstick, it's just that it doesn't have the gore to balance it out.

Drag me to hell was kind of gross in a way. It tried to be serious (at least it seemed) and was not to great. I laughed at the end though when the b***h was dragged to hell XD

I'm with Gabe- Evil Dead is not that great of a movie to begin with. If anything, it's very ambitious and good for the resources that Raimi had to put into it on a very limited budget.

Evil Dead II is much, much better- not a fan of Campbell though. He's a one-trick pony who can only play one character.

The first Evil Dead seems like it tries to be a generic Horror film and is just ok. The other two are great mainly because theres really only one character, Ash.
