highway t heaven was another good show and clean for a family show, today most tv show says anything on them glad my sons are adults today they now what to watch and not watch now, tv has really got bad with ther laguange they use on the shows today
I'm saving this to favorites. I am "famous" for making the face the Michael makes in the first scene. I did that face for a Splash Mountain picture!! I thought I was the only one who did that! LOL... I miss Michael Landon and his shows.
LOL! That first face he makes looks like one that Jim Carrey made in an old stand-up TV program he did when he was imitating the Joker and Clint Eastwood.
Rare to see some behind the scenes bloopers of that show. That was a real good show, why can't Hollywood crank out something good like most shows were back then? ....I forgot, they don't know how to. :( Hollywood was once good, now they're just ....downhill, BIG Time! :(
I practically grew up with these guys. I have followed Victor French from "Gunsmoke" (where he was seen quite often) to "Little House" (with Landon) to "Highway to Heaven" (his last series); Michael Landon from "Bonanza", "Little House" to "Highway to Heaven" Thanks for the memories, guys. RIP.
You can tell that they were great friends. My mom and I watched this show and I dont remember much! YouTube is a Godsend! I remember loving both these men from Little House. I have to Yahoo or YouTube about how Victor and Michael met and how Victor if alive reacted to Michaels death.
I got season 1 and season 2 on dvd.. almost finished S2. S3 on order.. hope S4 AND S5 be released soon!
I remember watching some of these episodes when I was younger - BUT watching them now - the issues they dealt with are still here with us. directing, acting etc was.. is.. EXCELLENT. You go on a rollercoaster ride of emotions with each episodes, some very funny sections and some really sad ones. the program ages well I reckon. It's shame they are no longer with us.
Yes, I remember watching this when I was younger too. It was an excellent series and if kids today were made to watch series like this which teach good morals and values, what a much better world it would be! Instead their heads are filled with violence and bad attitudes/manners etc because of the rubbish they watch on Tv etc. Video games have a lot to answer for aswell in my opinion.
I'm wondering if anyone who has this show can post the episode "Alone" with the mentally challenged boy Artie. That was a great episode. I was shocked noone already put it on Youtube.
Well...actually...No. And I'm not 67 years old either. LOL. 1967 was just a great year for music and the arts. But there are a lot of other good years, too, so go figure. And I hope my cats don't hate me. J/K (sorry - had to do it.) Have a good day.
ROTF!!!!!!!!!!! GREAT JOB, ELVISOBSESSOR! You could tell from the Bonanza days what a fun guy he was and a brilliant one, too!! So enjoyable to see this. I think he and Victor French were also personal friends, ashame we lost them both..........Miss their contagious laughter!
Early in 1991 Michael began work on what would be his last television show which was called "Us". Before the series could go into full production to complete its first season of shows, Michael learned that he was ill with pancreatic cancer and lost his battle months later on July 1, 1991. The world lost not only a brilliant actor, writer, director, but also a true humanitarian!
Yes I agree. My three favorites are Bonanza, Little House On The Prairie, and Highway To Heaven.Michael Landon is the best actor in the world and that will never change. He died way to young.
I LOVE this so much! Thank you for posting it. I loved all of it. Michael Landon is the best actor and that will never change. Not to mention he is so hilarious!
OMG!! Sweet Jesus! Michael Landon totally called Victor French an asshole! I'm pretty sure that is not an angel like thing to do! I'm shocked! But I still love them both. In fact, I may be IN love with Michael Landon, especially since I have seen this "bad boy" aspect of his personality. Yummmy. .........
