i've been forced to drive like that when i got chased through back roads in md by some guys in 2 diff cars, they blocked me in they pushed my bumpers they had me going over 100 mph, had no cell phone and didnt know what their intentions were they pulled out of a bar, it was midnight, and they flipped their headlights off, they left me alone after 45 min of this, they gave up on me, they couldn't out maneuver me, no police were around, but i made it. i hate when ppl bitch about women drivers.
This is my favorite episode of rescue 911. I found the episode thanks to allgood2000. runaway is one word. I wonder if the movie, "Speed' was inspired by this episode?
Somebody must have rigged her car to act this way. The accelerator was stuck, and the transmission would not disengage? This is a sure sign that someone had done that to her on purpose.
I remember this episode all too well. I thought that it was a scary thing to have your car lose control on you. I hope that never happens when I get a car.
I read a Reader Digest article of this incident and one tropper clocked her going airborne off the median at 95+. The article also said that her ignition worked fine in a test after the crash. She says, in the article, that when she started to get scared, she started to suffer from an asthma attack, and in her confusion, its possible she turned the key the wrong way.
does anyone have the episode where the pregnant lady in the pickup truck takes out the gaurd rail and rolls down the embankment into a creek or river, the episode where a convict ties the sherrif up in the woods and takes an elderly couple hostage, the one where the special needs boy stopped the school bus after the driver collapsed when he had an allergic reaction to cold medicine
I am ssuming the hunter didn't know what he was shooting at. He just saw something moving, and he shot at what he thought was a bear.....but instead shot at a couple out for a walk..
I've been through that area of North Carolina, granted on US 40, and there are some stretches where there are no service stations or places to stop if you need gas or have car trouble.
shes a good driver

If you look around 6:54, the car is already damaged before hitting the car.

This is indeed a scary episode, especially when her car flew onto the north I-95 lanes.
Looking at the green signs and the narrow nature of I-95, this must have been filmed on location.

Did anyone else notice that the Black Mercury Cougar had damage on the right side before it hit the runaway car! :O

the Brother segment #106 was to me cheesy as the screen blacks out as this one there are no blackouts of screen, makes it worth watching.

I just noticed something, one scene shows a Chevy Police car in front of her , but then another shows a Ford
