@bug9121 It works a lot better for me when I tease it but you definitely don't have to! Especially if your hair is thicker than mine or wavy/curly...my hair just tends to fall through bobby pins if it doesn't have some texture in it. Plus it makes the bun bigger. :)

@Muslimah33 Thanks...it may seem complicated but it only takes about 5 minutes do. When I do my hair in the morning I don't want to have to touch it again until I'm taking it down at night and this definitely does that for me. :)

personally...high top knot is the MOST comfortable hair style ever.

It's pretty hot in hour country..not humid or warm...as in HOt!!!!

Letting your hair down is like putting yourself inside an oven.

Ponytails and knots...that are not high top...just tend to weigh down and pull my hair..my paranoid self feel like it will give me receding hairline..LOL!

But the hight top knot...my hair just sits comfortably on top of my head!..like a cute little hamster! I LLUUUURVE itttt!!!

@danc3foreva 13hockeyswim13 has the right idea! :) I get my hair thinned out every time I see my hair dresser otherwise it becomes unmanageable. Plus I do some of my own thinning in between cuts with a razor...wouldn't recommended that if you've never gotten your hair thinned out, though! Next time you go to the salon, ask the stylist. :)

Thanks great tip... The teasing looks like it helps the hairs to stay together especially if you have lots of short layers
