Phonte and Elzhi are on different ends of the spectrum. Phonte is a storyteller, you see what he's saying the entire rhyme...you see yourself i na lot of his rhymes. Elzhi is a lyrical technician...his joints bang around in your head....you be like: "The HEEZY?!?!? Let me rewind that joint. You here what he just said?!" Like it catches up to you a second later...lol But they are both vicious in their own right. Love em both.

I remember when I first heard this song, and Elzhi's verse. I believe I put the shit on replay until my hands hurt. Elzhi went bananas on that track, and shit, so did everyone else. I must say that is a perfect track. Great song for a Great album.

"Precise" is the perfect word to use when describing Elzhi's rhyme skillz. I love seeing dope MCs admiring other dope MCs! We need more of this in Hip Hop. Props to Phonte and Elzhi. Two of my favorite MCs!!

@jthesnake77 Phonte just has a different style than Elzhi. He doesn't spit fast like that, but he has crazy metaphors and sick verses. On The Listening album he did an entire verse that didn't rhyme and you can't tell until he calls it out in the last bar. Anyway, they're both amazing MCs. It's a shame that both their groups broke up (R.I.P. Dilla & Baatin). I'm thinkin' a super group should form fom this........

@spiderman5876 Again phonte is a very good emcee (and overall great artist) in his own right, but Elzhi is the ILLEST technical emcee alive and his flow/tone just makes it sound so easy/smooth...He's a mix of Nas and Big L for me...

Elzhi "spits fast"? Since when? I mean he can, but you said it like he's Twista, Bone Thugs, Tonedeff @ his fastest (tonedeff is amazing also FYI)...No one today can touch Elzhi.....Only ppl ever in my opinon who can are 97-02 Em, Pun, Big L, G Rap, Nas, Monch
