This was an amazing rendition of kiss from a rose. No lie. I've heard tons of them, but this one was the best hands down. I agree, a male vocalist would have made it just THAT MUCH better, but even without it, it was absolutely fantabulous. Five stars, guys.

The song was just a bit too much for this girl. She hit one or two weird notes toward the beginning, and her syllabic treatment of a song that's as melismatic as this should be makes it sound unjustifiably amateurish, especially considering how great this song is. I really enjoy this group and I think they did a spectacular job with it. I'm in an all male a cappella group and do the vocal percussion and sing bari and T2 and really appreciate the work that went into it. I know some feeling was lost but mics on a stage compared to in a studio pick things up just a bit differently as the speakers put out the sound differently than someone's car stereo or iPod buds. The vocal percussionist is great and I love the choreography for all of their songs.
